Didn't think I could love Loki any more than I already did.

I could, but honestly? Most superhero comics bore me. I'm a bit frightened that I'll just end up hating the series.

You know, that movie actually made me think loki was more like a tragic villain or such. Sure he had some problems, but he still cared for Odin

Chaotic Neutral. Loki isn't a bad guy.

    Antagonist doesn't come with alignment.

But he wasn't an antagonist either. Loki was never the focus one way or another in Norse Mytology.

Seriously? As far as the the movie is concerned, as well as The Avengers, Loki was the biggest/primary antagonist of all

Actually, in Thor he's just a bit of a dick, and in Avengers, at least part of what he did he did because those other outer-space monkey dudes are dicks.

Gonna have to agree with chaotic neutral.

Well yeah. But whoever wrote those can't write good characters, so don't take that as any proof.

I'm getting the slightest suspicion that these people don't know what antagonist means

It's the opposite of a protagonist. You are still wrong though, as Loki has never been either an antagonist or a villain. Typical Americans, being all wrong about everything.

Loki is pretty much always the Antagonist. He's been so in Thor, The Avengers, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, Hulk VS. Thor, and I'm willing to get in the comics as well

Again, that's just because Marvel is worse than Disney when it comes to source material.

doesn't change the fact that he's the antagonist in those, and that's what matters
