After Mama, this was the funniest movie of the year so far.

    Comedies do nothing for me.
I would never go to a theater for one.

Well, comedy and horror are the two most subjective movie genres, so yeah, I get it.

I liked the movie concept as seen int he trailer, but the film's goal is accomplished in roughly the first half hour. Everything after is fake family shenanigans with the story kind of staling for the next hour with bonding and running from the drug lord. Don't get me wrong, I love Sudeikis' films, so it was rather enjoyable film that I wouldn't mind seeing again. Not going to be a favorite of mean, but it's good for a few laughs if you like those kinds of films.
I enjoyed "The Way, Way Back" more though.

I agree with a lot of that. However, I actually liked that they accomplished the goal early on. It was a nice change of pace than the normal formula, and allowed some good bonding moments for the characters. To me, the movie was about these four people finding security as themselves and bond into a very messed up family, and I think they did that very well. It's not very inventive, but after seeing The Heat and Identity Theif, this was a breath of fresh air for me.

I saw a preview of it and I thought it was decent. Sometimes tho, I can't take Jennifer Aniston seriously. It's probably the way she acts but ehhhh.

It's also the fact that no other comedy can top Mean Girls for me.

But yeah, as tummer said, they're really subjective. Just gotta find the good ones-
