Hello all, I was just wondering how many of you have discovered the James Potter book series by G Norman Lippert. For those of you who haven't found it yet, the James Potter series is a (at this point) four book series that follows Harry Potter's eldest son, James, during his time at Hogwarts. It's an interesting premise, but derivative works - in my view - or what one might call "published fanfiction" are often a bit ... weird for me? It dips a little bit into the uncanny valley territory because often they try to emulate the style of the original work but don't quite get there ... I don't know though, it sounds interesting though, and it would definitely something I'd like to check out when I have time.
Sounds interesting... But It feels a bit weird when JK isn't the one who is writing the books. But I'm looking forward to this.
