What's the reasoning behind doing such a thing? It's not like loads of people will now go out and buy the 360 version just for this, since y'know, the majority of the people who will ever own Skyrim already do. Not that I really care either way, I'm too busy with other games to go back to Skyrim now.
Making the decision between a PS3 and an Xbox 360 is a hard decision, mostly because they are very similar. They did this with every Fallout 3 DLC, and for huge fans of these games, this does give the Xbox 360 a small advantage. This was announced a while before the game came out, so it did give people more of an incentive to buy the Xbox 360 version. It's a shame you didn't get it on PC because of mods and stuff, and you would have gotten to play my game when we release it: http://www.moddb.com/mods/merp-middle-earth-roleplaying-project
Sounds like some serious work, but let me know when it's done. I have a few friends who play Skyrim on PC.
Ah, that seems more logical then. But still, you would think this was something Microsoft would advertise a bit more. If someone like me, who somewhat keeps up with gaming news, don't know about such things, then it's doubtfull the casual gamer would know of this. It's not a bad strategy for Microsoft, just odd that it was not really advertised.
I'm one of the developers, yes. It won't be complete for at least a year or two, so there's always time.
