I doubt it'll happen. There isn't a counter-culture anymore. Woodstock only happened because of the counter-culture of the 60's. There's nothing like it anymore, so the drive for such a concert isn't happening.

 

I'm well aware of that; it was just wishful thinking. If this whole 40-year commemoration won't rekindle the spirit, and it won't, then I doubt anything will.

I think this generation's female music artists that try to be controversial tomboys would be eaten alive by Wendy O. Williams or Kat Bjelland in their prime.
