It's amazing how Gurren Lagann can still surprise...

So I've watched the anime and the movies of this amazing series so many times (just love them so much) now... and admittedly this is the first time I've ever noticed...

I actually have a desktop of him just STARING at me. It's even creepier in low-res. Though I must say, he's still not as good as Bruce Ironstaunch.

 

I wish I hadn't watched this anime at the time I did.
I watched it a time in my life I'm not fond of, so now it's surrounded with plenty of bad memories.

 

I did the same thing and all it did was help me to look back on that bad time in my life a little more fondly.

That's not how it works for me.
Most of the time my reason for not liking something I used to like is because of the time I liked it.
I don't like almost anything that I watched or listened to in 9th and 10th grade, or at least I can't listen to them or watch them because it brings back the feeling of that time period.

I can feel it on my skin and taste it in my mouth: that horrible, horrible time.

 

In that case, I guess you're the perfect reverse of me. No wonder you hate me so much.
