[IMG]My university accommodation internet, which I've actually found really fast compared to home. It's not so good at uploading stuff but it's download speed isn't bad. Best speed I've measured it at has been about 70Mb/s.

It's not the greatest speeds in the world, but it works for what I want. It'd a lot better than dial-up.

250-500 kbps down. I don't know what's my up speed, though.

Still on Charter Communications, but why not post a new result? :)

Kind of odd. When I took the test for another forum just a few minutes ago, my download speed was 31 something. Why does this happen? LOL

    Can someone cry with me.

It's kind of fast now. No one else is using my internet and I have only KH-Vids tab open.
Brazil's internet sucks, though. For what I've heard, it's the most expensive and slowest in the world. And I do think it's true.

This is my poor connection. I have a 7.2 Mbps, howewer my average download is around 1.7-1.8 (about 4 times slower). It's pretty expensive, it has lots of problems and it is very unstable (like, a day the download is 800 KB, the next day is 5 KB)

Decided to retest my campus wi-fi. Seems to have improved a bit from the last time I tested it.

I miss broadband. Now I'm stuck with a glitchy dsl box and slow connection speeds. I used to be somebody *cries*

but ... it's still better than dial-up

I can't complain ... much. It serves its purpose as far as allowing me access to portions of the interwebs. I can't do things as fast but at least I can still do em, right?

Ping varies a lot from server to server. So that number is about test conditions, not a general connection speed. It is the time it takes for the server to echo back that it got data from you, so the lower the better. For typical use it doesn't matter until you have numbers of like 50+. For gaming people tend to care more, though I personally don't see much of a difference.
