Yeah I agree Ive always like the anti hero better, they just seem to have more character development, well more visable character development. But I cant wait for the book to come out this saturday!!! Isnt there going to be a fourth book? I thought I read something on one of the fansites where he said he might be writing a fourth.

The third one is called Brisingr. Inheritence is the name of the trilogy.

Technically, no. The third and final book will be split into two parts.

I give the guy points for writing this at the age of 14.

having said that....the series bored me. The second book the most, it felt like everything was moving way to slowly and even though it keeps the plot well connected....i will honestly say that i probably won't read this book.

Fine, 15. I still hold to the fact that both books bored me. There was flow but nowhere near enough.

I agree, the second one was a lot more boring than the first one. I still like the series, though.

Actually, the second one seems more interesting to me. Not more exciting, but more interesting.

I wish, but I had to get up early today so I couldn't. Didn't stop me from staying up past midnight, though.

Brisingr *spoiler elert. Do not approach if you haven't finished the book*

Well I just finished reading Brisingr yesterday at 9:00. IT WAS FREAKING ELECTRIC.

I mean come on. Why the heck did Oromis have to die like that. And I have like 30000000 theories in my head and I love the new sword and the Ildunarí and all of the stuff with the dwarves crowning. It was one of the most addictive books I have ever read. I will say this about the new book. I am torn between whether it will have Shurikan or the new dragon on the front. Probably Shurikan though. I think that Elva is a b**** and deserves to die. I was so surprised by the new Shade but Arya and Eragon defeated it like water off a ducks back! Soooo much I want to say. Someone reply and we can talk about it.

By the way, the other INheritance thread hasn't touched on this yet so please keep this open.

There was something I did hate about this book, but on one thing.

The wait between Eldest and this one. Now think about how long we'll be waiting for the 4th one :S

But yes, I agree. This is one of the best books i've read in a long time.

Actually, I'd like to just quickly inform that the Eragon series is, unfortunately, a trilogy.

Not to rain on your parade, but yeah. And plus, Christopher made Brisingr such a big book, so it must've taken many years to finish. I do remember buying Eldest back in sixth grade. So yeah, quite some time.

Actually, it says in Brisinger that there's going to be a 4th book. So. Yeah. *cough*

Hm .. that's odd. I recall Eragon or Eldest saying it was going to be a trilogy. So -coughcough-

I think origanlly, it was meant to be a trilogy. But then Christopher wanted more money so he made a 4th book.
