While Zwei had figured that Wenlock would responded badly to what was said to him, turning a bunch of people to stone seemed a bit much. I mean if was limited to like Hasu, Scarlett and Thomas then it wouldn't be as bad. It would still be bad thought, just not a borderline overreaction. Still there wasn't a whole lot that Zwei could do other than watch as the kingdom as well as Johanna was turn to stone. Too lazy to basically recount what happened next through Zwei's eyes. So he got on the Pegasus when the princess had brought them.

 

Astedi

You know that feeling you get when you feel like you just woke up and then a few minutes later, you wen back to bed, it felt like 5 minutes but in reality it was an entire 15 hours? Yeah that is pretty much what Dawn felt like. She was a complete zombie as time progressed among the Medusa stone ability, the barbie plot, and the whole pegisi thing, Dawn honestly thought she was being drugged with the whole turn of events.

Looks like now they were escaping on some Pegasus. Dawn climbed aboard the pony and waited to leave.

 

Scarlett was about to kick this guy where the sun don't shine, but a convenient Pegasus flock decided to show up just in time. She wasted no time latching her hand onto the nearest creature and pulling herself up onto it. Sure, she wanted to beat the crap out of this guy, but she wasn't stupid. Scarlett knew they had no chance of beating him, not in their current situation. As she hopped on, Scarlett yelled back at Wenlock.

"Hah! Women wouldn't chase you even if you had a million bucks in your hand. Well actually, if you had a million bucks, then maybe you'd be able to buy yourself a better outfit. You know, one that doesn't look like you just rolled out of a dumpster. While you're at it, that mustache isn't doing you any justice either." She grinned confidently. "Oh and did I mention how bad your eyebrows are looking? Damn, they're like two little forests up there." Man, it felt good to finally vent, even if it was wasted on this weird pervy guy. She hadnt said anything that harsh in a long time and it felt good to get it out.

 

Drosselmayer's Mansion

~ The group had shrunken, and Evanora is no longer with them. They watched as the Mouse King's army came through a hole in the wall, where they dreaming? ~


The Mouse King walked through the hole in the wall, two guards standing at his side. He saw the Nutcracker, fighting off some of the soldiers in his army. “Even as a nutcracker, you are a thorn in my side.” His voice exclaimed, his voice was very deep and sonorous.


“And a thorn to you I shall remain.” The Nutcracker said. From the present he was on top of, he took a ball tree and threw it at the King, before jumping down and pointing his sword at him. The Mouse King stood up, pointing his scepter at The Nutcracker. They circled each other, both glaring. They started to sword fight. The Mouse King hit The Nutcracker across the face.


He pointed the Scepter to his neck. "It's time I turned you, into something more useful." He turned his sword into an axe, ready to swing. "Kindle!"


"Not in my house!" Clara shouted, standing over The Mouse King with a vase.


"Hmmm?" He turned to face her, turning the axe back into the scepter. "Meddling human towering tall, have my scepter shrink you small." The Mouse King waved his wand, turning Clara small.

"Lookout!"

The Mouse King started to laugh as Clara shrunken.

"This... is not good." Clara said, now surrounded by Mouse Army Soldiers.

“Not so fearless now hmm?” The Mouse growled at her, pointing his scepter at her manically.

The Nutcracker ran a toy carriage into the Mouse King, having him go flying away from Clara

“I have to go back.” She told the other Guild Members, as they flew past the Castle, and the large pole with the Kingdom's Flag, which had a Pegasus on it.


“You can’t!” The Pegasus shouted.


“Why not who is he?” She asked.


“Wenlock, a Wizard who takes what he wants, when he wants.” She explained to the group, as all the Pegasus swooped through a cloud.


“There has to be a way. They're all wizards, they can do it!” She looked at the group for help. She couldn't believe she was fighting with a talking Pegasus.

“Not while he has his wand. He stole his wand from a powerful Witch, and with it his invincible.”

"Please turn around!” Annika asked.


“If you have any questions I’ll be happy to answer them, but I cannot let you go back.”

Galuna Island​

"Why weren't we notified when you accepted the Job!?" The voice yelled angrily.

Sara's pov: She looked around he bow was useless. Alessia please be waching.
She pulled out her bow hand sharking. if I hurt anyone with this time... she thought...

"Maybe because you've isolated yourself with this giant gate!" Was this wrong, probably given how Bobo got out and they had requested a job in the first place, but that didn't matter. Dale was the one who brought them along so he should be the main one to answer. But since Cal wants others to responded, despite her character not even being with them. And thus the sole point of this post has been stated. Now the wait resumes.

Amanda's pov: "Simple we go back, brake the wand in half and kick his but" she said shyly. She stayed on her Pegasus in the air for some reason she really liked it even if it could talk.

 

After stealing boats, nearly throwing each other overboard on the boat, and walking through a dangerous forest, their biggest obstacle was now a rather dickish gatekeeper. Taking a deep breath, Gaius prepared to respond. "Maybe if you wanted to be notified, you wouldn't put yourself on a cursed island in the middle of freakin' nowhere! Or maybe you could, I don't know, make a ****in' bridge or something! Or you could try this new invention, it's called postal! Yeah I hear it works great, you could get a postcode and send it to us with your address, and then we could mail you a letter! So I guess we'll see you in a few weeks, and then you can get this curse lifted, that sounds great right? But do you want to get a letter, or do you actually want somebody to do your job?! Open the bloody gate and let us in, this is your damn notification!" Gaius yelled, raising his voice as loud as he was able to in an effort to get the point across.

Skadi wasn't quite sure what had just happened. One minute she'd been walking, the next she had found herself to be the size of a mouse. Apparently, she'd been shrunk by some rat wearing a crown or something. Well, this was a first. The ice mage had seen a lot of things, but a talking mouse was not one of them. To make things more confusing, the broken nutcracker from before was fighting the mouse king, while they were engaged in combat with his soldiers. Skadi had never been one to like rodents, they didn't scare her but she certainly wasn't fond of them. Brandishing her mage's staff, she brought it forward and channeled her magical energy into it. From the tip of the staff a fierce gust surged towards the mice, attempting to raise them into the air as it did damage. Talking nutcrackers, talking mice...what was next, talking owls?

Skadi used Aero!


Caleb was still pretty annoyed at the fact he hadn't been able to stay and defend. However, all thoughts of that vanished as the princess and one of the Pegasi began conversing. He nearly fell off of his own mount from the shock, but managed to hang on. He listened to the responses though, not liking the sounds of Wenlock any more than he had when he'd first appeared. It only made it harder not to try to go back, but the warrior remained strong, turning his attention to some of the questions that were on his mind. The moment Brietta mentioned that she would answer any questions they had though, he couldn't help himself.
"What are you?"
"Why are you pink and the others aren't?"
"Can the others talk?"
"Why did we run instead of taking advantage of the fact Johanna made us stone proof?"
"We have ranged magic, why wouldn't that have worked?"
"Whose bright idea was it to give the man a magic sceptre with the power to turn people to stone?"
"Do you have any other powers?"
"Can't we just go back to the guild and get other people to help? I'm sure somebody has magic on the same level as Johanna, maybe the S class wizards can actually do something"
"Why can't Annika just say she'll marry him? It's not really binding until the ceremony, but even if its official, there is such thing as divorce, and this way we save everyone without a hassle"
"Why does the princess look so much like plastic?"

Once he had finished, he stopped and simply waited for the response, still shocked about the talking horse but more shocked about how many questions he'd had.

"I told you, he had stolen it."

"Do you have any other powers?"

"No, sorry to disappoint."

"No! Do you know how long it would take to send a message, and then for the Guild to Travel, and relocate Wenlock?! We don't have that much time." Annika exclaimed.

"Why can't Annika just say she'll marry him? It's not really binding until the ceremony, but even if its official, there is such thing as divorce, and this way we save everyone without a hassle"

"Absolutely not. Wenlock keeps his wife as prisoners. I won't let them hurt Annika. And even then he would be able to rule the whole Kingdom. His power is too great, we can't let him have any more control."

"Your appearance isn't exactly very stunning either." She turned back to glare at him.

Ander's pov:
"you were not notified because it takes a long time for things to travel. We just got here before you got the notice."
Some guild. There would no way they would be let in now. Nice job Dale and Gaius. "We are here to get rid of the curse on this island so if you could let us in tells us what you know about this curse and we will be on your way." He said all of this being polite as possible. If Dale and Gaius wanted in they should have tried harder.

 

Mizuki, despite not being included in the battle post, was all like, "Fuck you", and found her own two mice to kill. She attacked one of the mice with Blitz.

 

Jack used Aero. It did 7 damage, but with Magic and Weapon it did 20! Mouse Army Member 7 took 20 damage, while Mouse Army Member 10 took 10 damage. The Mouse Army Member 8 was stunned!

Mouse King Army Member 7's defense reduced 7 damage.

Well, while Caleb's questioning had been an amazing display of fine detective reasoning and skill, probably, it hadn't really helped them solve their current problem. Namely, the fact that the entire population of some town had been turned to stone. Including, most importantly, the king and queen, the people that were supposed to pay their paycheck.

Ren decided it was time he entered the conversation. “Ok, so, Pink Pegasus, do you mind if I call you Peggy? So, what's your plan?” he asked him, her?, frankly. “Because right now, all I'm hearing is, 'lets run!'” A thought struck him, remembering something that the pegasus had said. “Hey, this witch, the one who owned the wand first. How about we pay her a visit? Perhaps we could ask for her help, even offer her a little revenge on Wenlock. Or, if that's a no-no, we could steal a weapon of our own from her. As Brietta dived into the clouds, Annika saw a huge blue castle sitting in the sky. They landed in the main entrance. There were many other Pegasus running around.

Dawn gave a confused look as the Pegasus began to talk. Okay, so she could handle the whole princess and strange story going on between the man and princess... but there was nowhere in Fiore that she knew where animals could talk. She heard rumor that there were some cat like creatures that have been able to talk, but they were some strange species and there was only a rare number. Okay, so what really was on her min was that a Pegasus could talk, a horse with wings. It could talk while she couldn't? She wasn't too fond of this mission thus far.

So given that the Pegasus could talk, she doubt it could read. Dawn didn't really want to write anything if she couldn't understand, so she would have to show Thomas or Lucia the thoughts that were going through her mind. If it weren't for all the strange events, she might have thought the animals to be really cute, but things were too sporadic. She tried to write down on her notepad, but the flapping wings and high altitude forced her to hang on. She couldn't ask anything. She could write anything. Dawn was completely helpless right now.
