Imageshack.us has a new image linking policy: http://stream.imageshack.us/content.php?page=register_domain which says: Your Name and Email Address can be left empty when submitting domains. I guess that they want to reduce their bandwidth load and/or decide themselves on which sites their images are being hot linked or thumbed and/or want to increase their membership numbers?! I recommend to all of you to register a free personal account with http://my.imageshack.us/registration/ ASAP. Otherwise you will not be able to see any thumbs or directly linked images from imageshack on any site that has not been approved by them. You will instead see: or a similar image.
That is so odd. >:L I would rid myself completely of them and just switch to Tinypic but I don't want to see broken stuff all over.
1.Submitting a domain is an entirely different issue from 2. Registering a free personal account for yourself. 1. If you submit a domain, imageshack says is going to review it and then decide if they will allow their pictures to be shown there. 2. If you register a free personal account, whenever your are logged in on that imageshack account, the cookie will allow you to view all images linked from imageshack on all websites.
