I have to finish writing a 2-3 page personal essay about an experience where I learned some sort of truth or something. I don't want to.
I'm pretty sure that would get me kicked out, since it's for an online class with BYU (aka Mormon Hogwarts). XD also it's not truth to me
Only 2-3 pages? Luckyyy~! Anyways, about truth. Hmmmm. You could write about the irrefutable truth that you are spectacular. If you want to use more humble wording though you could say stunning. Or awesome.
Write about how you came to realize that they are no truths and that everything you know is a lie including the paper that you're writing.

You better write that essay the same way you're writing your sentences right now. I want to read it. To proofread.
ugh okay I love this generation but please do not write one of those awful "I'm so meta" essays where you **** all over the assignment or the teacher. it's a cute assignment, write something genuine!! those are the best papers
Oh come on, it's easy enough to bs a question like that. Meanwhile, trying to bs books you should've read on the course and using critical reactions to support or challenged your argument is a nigh impossible thing to do. Unless you've seen the film. Also, when it's your own assessment you don't have to be right as long as you justify the thoughts, which is a joy for a waffler like me.
That' s exactly what happened to me at my final oral exam. I was hoping the examiner would pick anything 18th century, Voltaire, Rousseau, a philosopher goddam it ! But noooo, it had to be Madame Bovary and her ****ing feelings. It quickly became obvious to the examiner I had only read the tiny part she was questioning me about. She asked, I confirmed and explained why. I managed to get a 09/20, not bad considering the circumstances.

I hate those kinds of papers, just because I can't think of anything to write about. "Some kind of truth you learned"? What about writing that Yellowstone is going to erupt some time soon because of earthly stuff and whatnot
What was the exam on? Something French based...? I think i'd be quite good at oral (;D) because of how outspoken I am in lectures, thinking up ideas and interpretations more often than not on the spot. Shame we don't have that assessed, 10-15 essays in a six month period and exams and coursework.
There are worse topics to have to write about. Think about how you can make it interesting to write as well as read. Maybe write about the "truth" in lies or something? And if all else fails, think about what Eleven would dothe sonic is the essay
Yeah, 18th or 19th century French literature. Admitting you haven' t read the book spells an under 10 grade, no matter how good of a bullshitter you are. Denying the obvious spells a zero.
I have never really had this sort of assignment but I would absolutely love it, in English I tended to go on about "HOW CAN YOU BE SURE OF THIS?" like in a question talking about whether "Good always triumphs over evil" in Hamlet I just went on about how we define good and evil and so we can't be sure. ttl;dr EVERYTHING IS AMBIGUOUS! What is truth? >:3
