And then I start to smell food. I'm all, "Oh, the neighbors must be cooking. Smells great, wonder what it is." And after thirty minutes, the smell is stronger. I get up and open the window to try and air it out. It took me another five minutes to realize I was the one cooking. <<' Soooo~ I burnt a good amount of the chili I was making. I just finished throwing half of it away and I'm going to pretend I ate it so my mom won't get mad. c: This is not the first time I've done something like this. ; ;
oh wow, how do you forget that you're cooking food? I actually did that sorta thing with Mac & Cheese once. I was boiling it in the water, and I started playing with my brother for only a few minutes, I go back, and it turns out the water has all but evaperated, and the noodles were all messed up. It was not a fun day
My pizzas are hockey-pucks, my chicken is burned, and my bacon is charred remains that are unrecognizable. Thankfully I like my steak well done. We won't discuss toast. Spoiler
