I'm so nervous, will be attending Ridgewater College in Wilmar, Minnesota, because I'm in this course called Occupational Skills, which teaches how to keep a job once you get one. Next weekend, I'll be moving into my apartment and pretty much spend the week getting settled in, exploring the town, and learning to take the KAT bus, the week after is when school begins and that's where the nervousness comes in. I hope I can keep it through the year.
But learning to keep a job and advance it into a career is easy... Just be friendly, do work, and get involved. Care. I just saved you two years of student loans.
I mean congratulations have a good time in college! But shouldn't you take a course other than something you could learn for free?
How about "being able to take care of yourself". It baffles me that the most essential skills for survival are the only ones not taught.
