Sometimes the file is too small, or it says that YouTube ir unable to upload the file. Why is that?

Depends. How big is the file that you want to upload? What's the file extension? .avi/.wmv/any other?

If youtube says that it can't open the file, then perhaps your video format is not compatible (but youtube is able to upload any kind of format, so that's probably not the case lol) or it isn't a video file at all xD.

You either place your cursor over the file and wait until the yellow box appears or you right-click --> properties and there you go.

The base limitations with YouTube is that you need to keep your videos under 1GB in size and under 10 minutes. From my own experiences, the YouTube uploader can be a beast of a thing and for one, I'm pretty apalled at what a horrible infrastructure YouTube has. If you've met these parameters, try a couple times to upload the video as is.

If you're still having trouble, you might want to use a site like media-convert.com to change the filetype of your videos to see if that's any more compatible. I usually have the best luck with .wmv and .avi filetypes.

    Good luck.
