Well, it's your body you can do what you want with it but Kay is right, it can mess with your system. Also My mom told me something because one day she thought I was trying to starve myself. She said that your body needs something to burn on like calories and when you aren't eating, your body doesn't really react to it but it keeps on burning and that's bad for you. Like CTR said, have light snacks because you always need tiny little meals, not large meals that you eat just to stuff yourself (BTW I am gulity of that. . . I eat too much at once but i'm trying right now to take things more slowly)

Lent is when you give up something for 40 days, do you really think people COMPLETELY give up eating for 40 DAYS! ​

 

i'm talking about on two certain days your not sopose to eat for the entire day.

 

I thought that was "Fasting" O_o

 

Lent is a Christian time of FASTING. FASTING does not mean starving yourself from Ash Wednesday and Easter Sunday.

Lent means not eating between meals and not eating meat on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday.

Trust me, I've had a Catholic education and while my parents were not strict Catholics, this was one tradition we adhered to at our house.

I do, for ever making this thread. I think you must've misunderstood me, when I meant I broke a "record".. I do not CHOSE to make myself not eat, i just simply do not feel like it. I did not feel like eating for 24 hours, and thats it. I did not starve myself, and I did not mean to go that long. It was all a misunderstanding, and I apologize, once again

 

I would like to let you know that, a few milllion people in sub saharan africa haven't eaten for a week.

And just to let you know the body can survive three days without eating before it starts to consume itself.
