I rewatched Death Note and six things come to mind. (Spoilers)

Yeah. Also, I just realized something. Two Shinigami gave their lives to save Misa, adding their remaining life to hers. She also made the eye deal twice, and one of the Shinigami gave that life back with its death. So that means that Misa may end up living for hundreds of years without staying young. Sucks to be her.

 

yeah but she shortened it twice so she probably would have a normal life span, had she not commited suicide.

 

When did she commit suicide? And as I said before, one of the times that she shortened it was for Rem, who essentially gave it back. And I thought we agreed that the lifespan was predetermined. It would seem me that she thought better of it and decided that Light wouldn't have wanted that for her.

Nah she did commit. In the anime she's seen on the top of a building in what looks like funeral clothes, plus in interviews with Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata they said that she probably jumped off a builing an died when she found out light was dead. And she does keep on saying that she'd die for him or couldn't live without him,

No the anime follows the manga exactly, even all the shots and frames are the same as the panels in the manga. It just made lights death more dramatic by making him run round a bit before death in a different warehouse.


One last thing about L and Light both going to MU, won't matt and mello be there, Plus I don't think Takada will be very happy that he killed her either. This gonna be one big biitch fight. Plus with mikami being there the word will get out thatLight was kira and he'll be swarmed by the people he killed.

 

Just a thing, but i'm pretty sure Misa knew Light was Kira when she met him.

Following the rules, a person with posession of a Death note has no lifespan, when seen by someone with the eyes. Misa had the eyes when she say Light and said "I've found you." Ergo, she knew, as she was informed of the rules by Rem.

they do have a ddd because the shinigami has to stick around until they die or if the shinigami chooses to shorten that.

Yes, I know that, but she forgot the last time she relinquished ownership of the Death Note.

Well it doesn't matter now coz she commited suicide.

And a deathnote owners original lifespan doesn't change unless the shinigami haunting that person decides otherwise.

 

There's no suggestion towards that in the manga; she's pretty removed from the final volume, but the last few pages have her leading a sort of religious march in honor of Kira's death.

But, Misa did not have ownership of the Death Note when Light died iirc, and even if she did her memories of having the Death Note would have been erased when the notebooks were burned. So she'll remember Light and being in love with him, but anything in relation to using the Death Note or her Shinigami eyes will be gone.
In the movies they take a slightly different approach, but it's still the same general idea: she feels as if there is some part of her life missing, but she can't remember what it is or why it's gone.

 

Actually the girl isn't misa. She just looks like her. She is just leading the march of the dead people kiras actions actually saved.

 

So nobody is going to notice Ryuk's contributions to this series?!
