All of the above would be amazing. I hadn't thought of Auron actually, but yes, he would fit in great, though the whole 'already being dead' thing could get in the way.
Sephiroth... I can see him forming a third team actually. Dissidia proves that he can work with others but normally just doesn't, so that's something I could definitely root for.
A few more KH characters would be nice, Aqua being a good thought. Perhaps, just for the raging lulz it would cause, Goofy.

The Dead thing could be a great plot twist. Considering it didn't stop him in the game.

It could be a plot-twist, but so far there isn't really a plot to twist. Two sides fighting one another without a single word being spoken isn't exactly a storyline.

 

Well it'd be a simple dilemna to fix if worse came to worse...
He could just fight as he did in the game (when most people did happen to know or think he was alive), and if comes the time he 'dies' (so to speak) He can just fade away or whatever into Pyreflies. Or Yuna can send him. I dunno. lol
