This is for my CRE101 class and I'm lazy curious as to how people could help out. Basically, I need some themes for songs (break-up, coming home, friendship, falling in love, etc), and type the lyrics out for 4 songs that would fit the theme. Each song also has to have at least 3 different poetic devices labeled (alliteration, irony, paradox, allusion, hyperbole, metaphor, personification, simile, imagery, etc.) Have at.
Kh-vids is not your personal homework saviour. but if you're breaking up with someone "Move ***** get out the way" is always the best song.

Fair enough. Maroon 5 could also work for a breakup/troubled relationship (Won't Go Home Without You). Seriously, Maroon 5 has so much that you could pull from; bewteen Never Gonna Leave This Bed, Misery, She Will Be Loved, Sunday Morning, Sweetest Goodbye, Shiver, If I Never See Your Face Again, Give A Little More, and all of their other songs, there's a lot.
All Mar0on 5 write about is romance, or the lack thereof. Seriously. Though I do like the song "She Will Be Loved" loads, and have on of their CD's that I never listen to
If the CD has She Will Be Loved on it, it's Songs About Jane (which I own). It's true that they only write about relationships and breakups, but they're good at it. Try Witchcraft by Pendulum. You may or may not get something out of it.
