She had a bad day and needed to relax. And if I let the account stay in the red, they'd be charged extra fees. Also, I don't see why it matters what she does with it as long as I get paid back. I have no expenses between now and Monday, and I still have $120 in the bank if there's an emergency. It's not that huge of a deal to me. The only reason I mentioned it was to explain why we didn't have a whole lot of food in the house.

I ended up finding a can of tuna in the back of the cupboard and using the last two slices of bread to make a tuna sandwich. The pizza shall have to wait until another time.

 

What bank do you use? I had to close my account at my old bank because my balance fell under $300.

Patelco. It's a credit union, actually, and credit unions are a billion times better than banks.

EDIT: Also, I have $90 in savings and $30 in checking, but I can easily move the money back and forth online at any time, so in my head, it's like one account.
