I'm going to guess augmented reality.

Using a camera and recognition software to project an object into a live video feed.

I'm surprised that it took 4 posts to figure it out.

 

...Doesn't it say so on the pack you get with a 3DS.

I'm pretty sure it says so on that pack, when my friend open his and we played around with it, I'm sure it said that.

 

I thought all of the cards were made in Arkansas.

 

I don't own a 3DS, so I never saw a pack. I only connected the dots when I was playing Batman: Arkham City.
