I have lost all respect for my father.

My mom is like that. But, I don't mind unless she says something like I'm chatting...and I sometimes want to slap her. She doesn't bother me when I watch Bleach....but my dad is more into my private business. LOL, it's irritating but I've gotten used to it.

 

My prents make me clean my room evryday to get me off the computer and to see what I'm doing. Now my room is the cleanest room in the houes ( used to be the worst) : D

 

I put a weird password on my laptop so no one would go through my personal business.

 

Just make a password and always log out when you're leaving the computer oh and remember to change the password once in a while

 

My mom pops in and out, always checking... I hate it.

My mom thinks advertisements are what I'm looking at. I mean, seriously, wow.

You can rename bookmarks. Do it. Call them 3-4 random letters: "yhgi" "pmih" "fay" etc. Or even "Yahoo! News" (my personal favorite).

Did she buy tons of jeans?

Thanks to VideoGameNerd246, I have now successfully made my computers lock after 30 minutes of idleness.

My parents now honestly do not care. I mean, I'm fourteen years old, I think I know what sites to go to and which ones not to. But I do have my share of problems with that. My friends. Whenever they come over, I change my desktop background (because it's usually something KH or FF) and go to some random website. They think it's so weird that I'm into this kind of stuff, probably because I'm a girl, and they make fun of me for it. So, I don't even get to talk about KH or FF unless I'm here. My family isn't into this stuff, either. My sister used to be, but now she reads more than anything.

Granted, my parents used to be like that when I was younger. But, thankfully, even then I was more computer literate than my mom and my sister, and I still am. My dad is like a computer genius compared to me, though. I feel for all of you who have problems with this. It is a sad thing to go through.

I change my backgrounds whenever my cousin comes over. I'm not sure if she's judemental but she thinks anime and kingdom Hearts is stupid (gasp).

I know that parents probably realize that their invading our privacy and that we expect them to trust us, but isn't minimizing things going to make them more suspicous (Then again, like I already said, they probably know we dislike it when others lean over our shoulders without permission.)

Which reminds me, my mom gets mad at me when I look over her shoulder (because she had promised me the internet half an hour before then and I get anxious and annoyed). It's not fair for her to look over mine.
