    But then,when Riku becomes pure hearted.He gets the keyblade.Way to Dawn.Looks different from what he used to have.In KH2.

    Wooden swords are epic XD.

    Also I'm probably wrong, but I thought it was explained in an Ansem Report at some point that Riku was the original chosen weilder?

    The idea is pretty much that Riku had the stronger heart. It does not matter whether one is working for the light or for the dark, as long as his/her heart is strong the Keyblade goes to that person. When Riku stole Sora's Keyblade, he basically had to strengthen his own resolve to plunge into Kingdom Hearts whilst shake Sora's will to fight him. The plan worked, and the Keyblade left Sora.
