Once you've got Vista up and running, look for the "windows.old" folder. They might be in there.

Oh yeah.. that sucks HN. I ran out of memory on my computer and got a second hard-drive and it died on me the other day along with all the files in it. ;-;

Vista's hell. It screwed up half my music files and won't let me run anything.

But good luck finding that windows.old folder. I gave up after a few hours of checking my entire hard drive.
