In English today we spent half the class bashing catholics (I'm prodistant but it still annoyed me.) my teacher is still mad at me for skipping class last week to go mini golfing so she keeps picking on me. On top of it all she called me mr. I am a girl, just because I wear a hat everyday doesn't mean I'm a guy. So yeah I had a very interesting English class today and by the time I left I wanted to punch someone. Has anyone else had a class like like that?
I reflect things I find offensive or don't like with humour a lot of the time. How are the Prodistants? Doing well?
I had this one math class where we got into a heated debate over why polynomial functions are so much better than rational functions.
Whenever my Biology teacher asks a question I always just want to say "because that's what God created," or something along those lines. But I love English normally, though my teacher this year is... ehhhh. Certainly nothing that you're describing (I would report that teacher btw), but he tends to yammer on about nothing.
Honesty -10 points You must obey the law (what you consider the law), and do your best to get others to do so as well. You are compulsive about it. In an area with little or no law, you will not "go wild" – you will act as though the laws of your own home were in force. This is a disadvantage, because it will often limit your options! Faced with unreasonable laws, you must roll against IQ to see the "need" to break them, or to avoid turning yourself in afterwards! If you ever behave dishonestly, the GM may penalize you for bad roleplaying. You may fight (or even start a fight, if you do it in a legal way). You may even kill in a legal duel, or in self-defense – but you may never murder. You may steal if there is great need, but only as a last resort, and you must attempt to pay your victims back later. If you are jailed for a crime you did not commit, but treated fairly and assured of a trial, you will not try to break jail. You will always keep your word. (In a war, you may act "dishonestly" against the enemy, but you will not be happy about it!) You will also assume others are honest unless you know otherwise (make an IQ roll to realize someone may be dishonest before you see proof). Honesty has its rewards, of course. If you stay alive and in one place long enough for your honesty to become known, GMs should allow you a +1 on any non-combat reaction roll, or a +3 if a question of trust or honor is actually involved.
Reminds me of something back in high school. One of the students got severely offended by a biology saying that all beings on earth are animals, including humans. Student ended up complaining to the administration but nothing happened in the end pfft.
My math teacher keeps saying she'll punch me every time I correct her or spoil the explanations, but she never does. >.> She likes me though, like every math teacher I've had. 'Better' as in easier to solve? Domain limitation? Prettier graph? In case you didn't notice, I love math debates...
Nobody cares about either of those. Non-linear differential equations are the only way to go! This thread reminds me of what happened today actually. It's funny how easy it is to insult engineers.
