    QUESTIONS:

1: in option 1, when you enter the world, do you become a minor character who was created by the author and introduced in the story, or do you become a completely new character?

2: in option 1, when you enter the world, if a specific place is mentioned but not actually described, what does it look like? does it look like an actual place, or is it just a white spot on the map?

3: in option 2, are you limited in any way by current technologies? for example, if you wanted the PS4 to use holograms, could you make it, or would you have to wait for technology to catch up?

4: in option 3, are you limited to summoning just one person? i mentioned this in a previous post, but is there anything stopping you from summoning 1 person per day and having them be completely different people each time? or is it so that once you summon someone, youre stuck with them forever? or can you only summon one person per month period?

    1. You are a completely new character. Whenever the author refers to "people in a crowd" that MIGHT be you. Unles you of course squeeze your way into main character position.

    2. Looks like a place

    3. You are limited by the technology.

    4. You can summon as much people as you want
However only one at a time and you cannot summon the same person twice a month.

I think I'll just squeeze my way into a main character position. All I need to do is grab a sword, get some training, and keep up with the character. Easy, right?

Not really. You could be hated by the fans and would later be taken out.

too bad for them. My life, my rules. They can come into the world themselves if they don't like it

    Perhaps you don't get it.

You're in an anime or whatever, owned by someone else, who have fans.

well let's see, they make the story and everything, but if we chose option one, we'd be going into that world, which is seperate from this world, which means that it doesn't matter what people think, since they're not in that world, and they wouldn't know what's going on. It's like making an alternate universe.....sorta.

But the company still owns that world. Just because it makes a new one doesn't mean it's a different anime.

what I'm saying is that in this world they own that world. But in that world, the people that own it pretty much don't exist. You're literally going to a different world, and it's not owned when you're there because it's its own world, not something owned by someone

    Easier said than done.

    Also clarify

When you enter the new world it is ENTIRELY seperate from this world
In terms of time passing, people dieing of old age and whatnot, those things will stay intact. However the author has LIMITED say in what goes on in the world.
    Look at it like this
Let's say you decide to join one of the four nations in Avatar. Because the show Avatar: The Last Airbender is finished, then you will be living in the world that has already been established at the end of the show
UNLESS you decide that you want begin your life at the BEGINNING of the show, in which case the world will evolve the same way it does in the show (essentially you know the future).

Now let's say you decide to live in the world of Bleach
because Bleach is still going then like Avatar, the rules, characters and conditions of the universe will change as the manga goes on. You can decide to live in the world from where the manga is OR start from the very beginning of the story in which case you know everything that's going to happen UNTIL you reach the point where the manga is here in this world. After that point you can die, come back here and read the manga for a bit, or just let things play out while you're still in the world.

Also if you decide to join a show such as The Legend of Korra then you will start off BEFORE the the story has begun. Because Korra won't be airing for another year, you will start off a year before the story begins. Once the story has begun you can no longer do this.

You know what's really freaky? I think of that second scenario all the time. Truthfully, I'd probably just go from the beginning then let things play out. That way there's a little surprise to it.

    ANOTHER THING!
In the event that you are able to become a significant person in the new world then everything changes.
Nothing can be predicted from that point on as the story has gone on a completely different tangent.
