I finally got an xbox 360

Arkham City has gorgeous graphics. Especially on the PC (though what doesn't on the PC besides unoptimized console ports?)

 

Have to agree, I've been playing Kingdoms of Amalur on my PC with everything on high and it looks gorgeous as do most games on higher graphic settings. I really do notice a difference when I switch from my PC to my PS3.

 

You could only imagine my feelings of ecstasy going from playing Fallout 3 vanilla on the Xbox 360, to the modded beauty I have now on the PC.

 

I have the same feeling with Resident Evil 4. I was so dissapointed when they released the PC port but thank god for mods.

 

Yes, but does that really have to be a selling point for it? It's like buying a car because it'll start the first time you turn the key every time you use it.

 

It's more like buying a car because it looks nice.

Graphics will always be considered a selling point me. A game which is aesthetically pleasing will always make it more enjoyable (for me anyway).

 

...I never said that was the reason to buy the game? It's a fantastic game first and foremost, and a great looking one second.

I didn't actually buy the xbox you guys, it was given to me, like I said, i can't afford this stuff, even spending $50 on a DS game is hard for me.

But I'll look into some of the games you guys suggested, see if they're used, and then I can rent them out from Gamestop.

That's why i recommended cheap games. Earth Defense Force is like $5. Fallout 3 is like $7.
