I have found my lust for y=mx+b once I discovered y=a(x-h)²+k.
The world was so much simpler when all we needed to know was how to graph linear equations.

 

y = x² + mx + b

It's ax²+bx+c in that form. This; y=a(x-h)²+k, however, is more useful for transformations and manipulations.
