Birth by Sleep How to Make Birth by Sleep Actually Sad

Read this comic, and pretend it's canon
Suddenly, Terra, Aqua, Ventus and Eraqus are actual characters, with reasonable rationale, and actual character development.
By focusing hard and squinting my eyes, I was actually able to stir up real emotion while playing BBS.

Of course, the effectiveness of this tactic is relative to your imagination.
And I still haven't found anything that manages to make Days sad.

 

I tried, it's not making BBS any sadder for me. as for Days, I already find that game sad. Roxas finds his life falling apart, and loses his only friends

 

BBS was just depressing more than sad. Days was pretty sad.

 

I guess I have a big imagination.

 

To be honest I don't think there's anything that could make Birth by Sleep sad for me, or at least make me care about the people.

Where I was at emotionally in my life certainly has something to do with why this game was not well received on my part, but I don't think anything will change that these characters are just not believable as people.

The comics may be great, but I would like BBS to be able to stand on it's own, and it just can't.

 

Birth by Sleep and Days make me sad because of the eventual fates of the main characters and that Roxas' life is slowly falling apart respectively.

 

Birth By Sleep by itself is sad for me. Especially it's ending. This makes it a bit more sad for me but I felt it sad on it's own.
For Days, it was kind of sad. Only the ending really imo but still kind of.

 

Birth By Sleep is very sad for me seeing as what happened my favorite character has the saddest part and what happens to her it makes me have them feels.

 

Both bbs and Days are sad in some ways. There's no need to first "make them sad".

 

Birth By Sleep wasn't that sad to me. Especially compared to the already released Days which made Birth By Sleep's sadness pale in comparison. (Maybe that's an exaggeration)
