I've heard that, apparently, the person Tali's face is a Photoshop of is actually her voice actor, but I'm not so sure on that...and regardless, its freaking lazy. I've seen quite a few fan-arts that were more original (and took more effort no doubt). Maybe I'll even try my hand at what I personally thought she would look like.

I suppose that's true... I just thought it would have been more obvious that it was happening to Shep instead of subtle and implied in minor ways.

Maybe I just don't want to admit that it wa a crap ending. Because if it was indoctrination, then seriously could have been done better, imo. I'd also love for Reapers to still be seen as absolutely evil, without remorse and mercy, which is what I wanted them to be. Making them seem like something else is just stupid.
Maybe this is all intentional by Bioware, that the end is so metnal it must be made up. All I know is that I think that my choice at the end was the 'best' possible result for an ending.

Nah man, you were fine. You're only an ass if someone takes offence, so you're good.
    Not usre about the proof.

I liked Tali's reveal. It wasn't over the top, or too detailed, the little photo still left a lot up to my imagination, like what the ales would look like, what are those tattoo thing on her head, etc.
Personally I would have preferred some purlple skin or something, but I kind of like her the way she is.

Oh, found it. Tali's face is based on a stock photo of Hammasa Kohistani, Miss England of 2005

But yeah, I would have preferred her to have purple skin and maybe look a bit more alien, like the Asari, but the picture is realistic given info from the Codex.

And regardless of how the reveal was done, it was still pretty lazy to simply Photoshop someone in real life instead of actually modify her character model.

idk the design of the asari is nothing special... its just blue girl. I mean I guess its cute because knowing Bioware it is probably a throwback to the green girl (just a normal looking girl ~~~BUT WITH DIFFERENT SKIN COLOR!!!!!!~~ we used to see in old science fiction.

I was hoping tali to look very Turian (well not totally Turian since we see she has humanoid nose/eyes). But seeing as they are both dextro amino based and have the same kind of leg structure it would kind of make sense.

Well, I meant like, Asari have tentacle heads, and don't have protruded ears like humans do. But given the codex entries, they can't really stray too much I guess. Still, I was thinking she'd look more...exotic

My thoughts exactly. I was thinking that a race like the Quarians, who pretty much live in their enviro-suits, would have no need for hair, nor any way to take care of it if they did have any, so they'd eventually adapt to not having any.

Codex says no, so whatevs :|

This is my personal favorite picture of Tali so far >.>

Tali wasn't going to look anyway we imagined her to, because we all imagined her differently. However, sticking to the law, it fits.

To reveal a new race openly, I think that Bioware would want to show a range of them at once, like Turians or Salarians were. Though they essentially have the same type of structure to them, their skin colour, face paint, scars, etc can make them very different and unique. If we had only seen the one Salarian or Turian we would assume they all look like that, when in reality they have there own unique features.

If the Quarians are human like they may also have a range of skin colours and features as well, don't be surprised if you see some different looking Quarians in future installments.
