"You're telling me.." Jack said from his corner. "Do...do you think Ada was being serious?" he asked.

 

"I just wish they'd leave me alone all together, not even at school yet and I'm sick of it. Not used to all the attention." He laughed nervously.

"Are you okay...?" Lake enquired in a soft voice, uncertain if she was crossing a boundary by asking.

 

Alexis grinned..."If you want, We could scare them off."

 

"looked like it"

"hm? yeah...fine..."

 

"How did I not realize?" Jack said aloud...

 

"Nah, it's okay. Guess I'll learn to live with it at worst, besides as soon as they end up having to spend like all day everyday with me again they'll soon realise I'm still a complete dork. Near death experiences or not."

"Everything's going to change now... isn't it?" Immy enquired to the two boys in the carriage with her.

"Are you sure...? That was a pretty big fight between you and your sister... And your friend. The vampire girl, well new vampire."

 

Alexis nodded. "Near death experience?"
"What I told you over summer.."

Jack looked at her.."Probably...I Can't see them accepting her, if they can't accept the others.."

 

"Yeah, I was part of that. Though really most of what I did was my sister's ideas and thoughts, I just carried it out for her."

"It's not their fault though... You saw the reactions Mickey and that girl he was holding hands with had... If something smelt bad enough to drive you that nuts then you wouldn't want to put up with it. And Uncle Ben always said things that smell too strongly can actually hurt werewolves. So if something's causing you pain you're not going to want to hang around with it..."

 

Jack nodded..."But I couldn't smell anything. Also, Ada had the same reaction when she passed them. Does the same apply to Vampires?"

Alexis nodded. "I was told about that. Minutes before I killed your friend here...On request of course.." She said, motioning to Ada...

Ada scowled.

 

"Yeah....maddie'll get over it...she always does...when she does...i do."


"got a point there...."ronan said

 

"A werewolf's sense of smell is much more powerful then an ordinary human. That's why we can't smell it, my dad said he could smell something different while we were at the platform and while he's not actually a werewolf he does have some traits only not as strong. Like why he likes poorly cooked meat and stuff." Immy explained. "But I'm not so certain about vampire's smell, I guess they must do after what we've seen today. But since they have other enhanced abilities it's possible I guess."

"Wow, emo much Ada?" Nate smirked jokingly.

"So you're close then?" She asked again. Curious at how sibling relationships work.

 

"Just hope that either maddie stays away or mickey learns to live with it....or i can see them killing each other in the near future..."

"yeah....or we were....twins...you know how close they get...its just....it seems in my family,they drift apart as they get older,my cousins shawn and sophie are starting to act like that....not as bad as me and my sister though...."

 

Ada scowled again..."I was about to die anyway..." She muttered....

"Thats what I said..Then I saw her death..So I killed her myself..."

Jack nodded..."Yeah...Mickey mentioned the scent of something dead...and that other vampire said he smelt wet dogs...So, they must be able to smell the other.."

 

"Care to elaborate more on this fascinating story?" Nate asked.

"Smell each other for what they are, when you get right down to it that is... And I hope they don't go that far. Not after everything our families have been through already..."

"Maybe it's because you're becoming your own people now...? So rather then being two halves you're becoming two entirely different people, and if you want to keep the closeness... maybe you need to let go a little, let her make her own mistakes but always be there to pick up the pieces." She said, once again her already delicate voice sounding even more wavering as she wasn't fully sure if she was crossing a line.

 

"yeah....bet you she goes for him before he goes for her....then again...he might murder that vampire kid first..."ronan said

"your probaly right.....i mean she is the older twin...but when i see with that...thing...its not just my brotherly instincts....its my-"he cut off"i said too much..."

 

"You guys last saw me running through the woods, away from a death eater. Well, I got about halfway into the woods, when I was stunned from infront. I had been followed by two deatheaters, not one. I saw Alexis watching me, and mouthed help. Of course, I thought she was a fellow wizard, so I wasn't expecting the bite on the neck. But hey, she saved me anyway.."

"They were going to kill you in a form of ritual..."


"I Know...I'm hoping we all manage to stick together.."

 

"Oh yeah... I wondered where you'd vanished to after that, but everything got a bit hectic on our end after that and next thing I knew I was waking up in St. Mungo's with a large patch of flesh missing from my right-arm. So I almost forgot until you made contact again...."

"I just hope no one gets hurt..."

"It's your what...?" She asked, now curious as to what he was going to say.

 

"yeah....then again it might be funny to see mickey getting his a** kicked by maddie again....havent seen anything like that since we were 13.....but it wasnt very funny since i tried to help him and she turned on me....very, very vicous your sister is.....gusse she gets that from auntie ly."he grinned

"look...promise you wont say anything? most my mates dont know....my girlfriend doesnt know.....i dont want them to know.....cos they'll treat me different....like im a monster....and im not....so promise you wont tell anyone?"

 

"Prob'ley a mix of that and from my Grandma. She's doesn't half swing at Daddy every time she gets the chance." Immy said, giggling quietly.

"I promise." Lake nodded. Slightly amazed that he was trusting her already with something that even his girlfriend didn't know.

 

"seriously? she still hits uncle casey?"Ronan grinned

he sighed"im...im a werewolf...."He said,he braced himself for the scream or the shout.
