Ada sat on her bed. She still shared the room with Maddie and the other girls, but there was never any conversation...

 

"it did...that cullen kid stopped the car..."Ronan said"but she fainted from fright i think..."

at that moment,she stirred"cory?"
he sighed in relife"yeah?"
"Put me down! i feel like a idiot!"
"sorry."he said putting her to her feet"you ok?"
"just shook up,but yes.i am."

 

"Or from the heart-stopping sparkliness of Vampire boy." Nate sneered mockingly

"Anyway, away from that depressing topic..." Lake said, trying to distract the topic away from herself.

 

maddie gave him a dark look"shut up."

he nodded,leanning back on his chair

 

"Ooh, sore spot." He laughed

Lake nodded too fiddling with the end of her long golden hair.

 

"you'll have a sore spot in a mintue if you dont shut up!"maddie said

"hey,whoa whoa,calm down....he's joking maddz."cory said

"im going to tell mickey whats happend..."he entred the three broomsticks

 

"Grumpy cow." Nate muttered, rolling his eyes.

"Isn't that one of your relatives?" Lake said, kneeling up in her seat to look.

 

Alexis was next to Antony..."So...there a specific reason for you saving her?"

 

she glared at him

"what?"he said looking up"ron,whats up? whats happend?!"he got serious at the look on his cousins face

"um....maddie almost got hit by a car, almost!,calm down...that vampire kid...whats his name? antony,stopped it before it could do damage....and then she fainted but shes fine...though you might want to get her before she rips Nate's face off..."

mickey pushed past him"somebody could've told me!"he slammed the door

"not really,why?"

 

Alexis smirked, eyebrow raised..."Okay then..."

 

Nate glared straight back at her, determined not to lose to her.

Lake slowly sunk back into her seat hoping Ronan hadn't spotted her.

 

she rolled her eyes and turned around

"hey,where are you going?"

"commom room,duh."

"Maddie!"

"Oh no..."

"you coming?"ronan asked lake

he rolled his eyes

 

"I-I don't want to get in the w-way..." She replied, shrinking back in her seat.

 

"You know what I thinks Antony?" Alexis asked

 

"you wont...you would probaly make mickey calmer"

"what?"antony said

"what?"she said

"what do you mean 'what?'? are you ok?"#

"yes."she said through gritted teeth

 

"I thinks...That you may have some soft spot, somewhere in your unbeating heart, that attracts you to this Maddie. And By that, I don't mean her scent."

 

"dont think so.."He said walking faster

 

"Alright... I'll come..." Lake nodded, pulling herself up off of her chair and pulling her hood up in one fluid motion before running out the door.

 

"Bingo...You answered straight away. It's a telltale sign. Your just in denial.." Alexis said, keeping up with his pace.
