lyra was in the kitchen,making breakfast for everybody,the twins were sitting at the table"can one of you go and get cory up? i dont want him sleeping all day...hung over or not'she said
"ill go.'maddie said getting up and heading up the stairs she opend corys door and went over to where he was eagle spread on his bed.somehow he had gotten changed into his baggy pajamas but didnt make in under the covers"cory! cory! mum says time to get up!"maddie said shaking him,but he only groaned mumbled and rolled over,she rolled her eyes and said a spell that gave him a shock.she quickly left his room before he could yell at her for waking him
he jumped slightly when the shock hit him,he sat up rubbing the right side of hi face,which trobbed painfully,he got up slowly and dragged himself down stairs

 

"Get in a fight or something mate?" Casey asked as Cory entered the room, Casey himself trying his best to help Lyra. However he was obviously being more of a hinderence then a help.
Immy was sitting at the kitchen table, staring blankly at her empty plate

Meanwhile at teh hospital Jamei was being a moody, grumpy brat towards the people around her. As was normal when she was hung over, however her mood wasn't lifted greatly by the idea of never being able to see again.

 

lyra dropped the knife she had and took cory's face and turned the right side to face her"did someone hit you?"she said
Mum! no! what are you laughing at?!"cory snapped at mickey
might wanna look in the mirror cor..."
he narrowed his eyes but went to look,behind him lyra had gone back to cutting he heard her say"casey,its ok i got this myself,but thanks for trying" she kissed his cheek"oh my god!"cory said"what the?! how?! who.."

"might wanna try being nicer to people jamei..."

 

"Wanna watch out for those doors, they're nasty little buggers." Casey snickered. "But the point is: Is the door alright?"

"Bite me." Jamei said sulkily.

 

"ok talk to everyone else like that....just not me...'

"i cant go out looking like this...'he said sitting back down putting his head in his arms"not when im gonna go meet...."the name was mumbled so no could hear,not that he was complaining

"change of plans cor anyway,i have to go to work,so your grandma lily will take you to diagone ally,just act a little better than you are....you know act like your not hung over....you know how she hates it if any of you are hung over and then i get the lecture of 'what were you thinking,their still under age'"lyra said putting the knife down"oh and jordans bring scottie over...apperently he was in a right state when he got home'
"knowing him,he would be..."cory mutterd picking at his food"why does gandma have to take me? why cant i go myself?"
"because,you've got a nasty temper when your hung over....god knows what fights youll pick if you go alone...."
"whatever..."he huffed putting a hand under his chin to hold his head up,thinking of how to cover his black eye up,not worryinghis grandmother found out he was hung over or not.
"mum,he's got a nasty temper all the time..."mickey said"he's the same as you,the slightest thing will set him off,like mother,like son..."
"its like father,like son,dung for brains"maddie said

 

"Whatever..." Jamei muttered bitterly. Folding her arms defensively, wincing in pain as she put weight down on a still fragile rib.

"Aunt like niece, doesn't realise that just because she whispers others can't hear." Casey commented as he passed Maddie, he was going to make sure Immy ate something and kept it down if it killed him. "And Mickey, don't expect me to save you when go out of your way to insult your mother. No one saves me from the Wrath of Lyra." He chuckled.

 

i cant save myself"mickey said grinning

"yeah right..."cory said getting up,putting his plate away and throwing himself down on the couch

alex sighed

 

"Cheer up Cory, things can always get worse kiddo."

"Well... This sucks."

 

"worse? how?"

"its your own fault for not getting down when cory told you too.."alex said

 

"Dude, you just have a black eye. I've gotten worse then that from my sisters. And certainly worse from my brother. Not to mention the fact that's your only major issue right now really."

"I was pissed outta my skull and I never listen to Cory when I'm sober, let alone drunk."

he sighed,he stared at the door"what times jordan coming?"
"oh um..now...'lyra said
cory sat up hearing a crack and a annoyed voice,he grinned,appantly he wasnt the only one in a bad mood,he got up and let his uncle and newly discoverd cousin in
scottie stopped short at the sight of cory who said "dont ask..." then motioned for scottie follow him and whisperd"is carrie coming today?"scottie nodded,not speaking in case he laughed"though...she might....act weird around you...."scottie mutterd,snickering slightly
"right...."he said"you didnt tell anyone did you?"
not a soul..."
"Hey auntie lyra!"ronan said from behind jordan"guesse what? guesse who cory snogged at that party last night"he grinned "uh....well mabe i told him..."scottie mutterd as cory stared at him
"who ron? who'd he snog?!"mickey asked
"Carrie! scottie told me when he got back....he said he did..."
mickey brust into one of his laughing fits,which he called a 'laugh at cory' fit "i knew it!"
"alright thats enough you."jordan said to ronan"how's jamei? alex phoned last night,said she fell,never acctualy told me what was wrong with her though,or how shes doing..."

 

Jamei continued to sulk moodily. "Well, it's me paying the price for it now isn't it..."

"She was seriously hurt when Cory dragged her back here and we haven't heard anything since."
"I hope she's alright..." Immy said quitely.

 

alex looked at her

might pop in and see her..."jordan said"right well,i have to get going,just making sure that one didnt cause trouble,tell mum i said hi ly,come on ronan..oh and scottie,tonight come home alone."jordan added seriously,while scottie rolled his eyes
"ha! thats rich coming from jordan,'come home alone...' lyra said laughing slightly"he was the one who couldnt keep away from the girls...'
"who'd you take home?"cory asked
"gemma malkins.with her all night,dunno what happend after about half a hour of getting to the party...well hurry up! get dressed lazy arse! we gotta meet your girlfriend- i mean carrie in diagone ally soon!"
cory rolled his eyes and headded up stairs with mickey shouting" dont run cory! you might hit your door again!'

 

"I still can't see a f*cking thing." She swore angrily.

"Yeah, like my sister I remember you having issues keeping away from for a while." Casey said, scowling slightly at Jordan.
"Eww..."

 

"didnt need to know that..."ronan said
jordan grinned"no girl could resit me..."

"you wont for awhile..."

"I still to this day don't understand why. You were rude, arrogant, conceited, you stank of bloody cheap de-odourant and *** smoke..." Casey smirked, showing the slightly darker side to his interesting and complex Malfoy personailty. All intended to be taken as a joke, though the thinking was done by the sneeringly 'looking down upon' part of him.

"Which is just great because it means basicly everything I do is now out of the question for god knows how long. I can't even put make-up on for gods sake!"

"You told them that, you?" Casey snorted. "If Elle told me right you were the one that started her on drugs."

"Yeah, because she can handle an eyeliner brush." Jamei said coldly.
