"Then evidently you inherited your grandfather's intelligence." Elle said mockingly in a jokey fashion.

 

she gasped faking shock"ill have you know...my grandfather is very smart!"she laughed

 

"Not all people who wear glasses are intelligent." Elle snickered.

 

she gasped again"he was!"she joked"nah im kidding...it was great auntie Hermione who was the brains in that trio."she grinned

 

"I think she had all the brains in that lot."

she looked at the clock"not long,Maddie...why dont you go play with Cory,or Ronan or grampa...take Jamei with you..."Lyra said

"Well he doesn't seem to mind Jamei so maybe they'd let you stay with them."
