"As you can tell she's a bit... different from Mickey's previous girlfriends." Casey chucked.

 

"shes alot different from them...yo can just tell shes not like the rest....and here i thought Mickey had terrible taste in girls...yet you got the pretties one i've seen in ages right there..."

"thanks grandma...i think..."he looked at little hurt about the comment on his 'taste in girls.'

 

Lake blushed a bright shade of red at the comment about her being 'one of the prettiest'. She'd seen the girls he'd previously dated, she'd never once of thought herself anywhere near their league. Let alone near the prettier end of it.

"And at least we know for certain they won't end on such downright stupid grounds as previous ones."

 

Lily nodded

Mickey flashed her a grin

"How's uncle Charlie Mum?"

Lily shook her head.."not good..."

 

Lake smiled back a hurried back off behind Mickey, just speaking had taken a lot out of her.

"What's wrong?"

 

some rare romanian disease...its terminal..."she said

"Mum..."

he looked at Lake

 

"Oh my god..." Casey said, at a loss for words.

Lake was too busy watching what else was going on to realise that Mickey had looked at her.

 

she sighed"looks like the weasley's are dying out.."she joked"the only comforting thing is...he wont suffer for long...and that he had a good life."

he looked back at her grandmother

 

"Yeah, he's had an amazing life. "

 

she nodded"anything else?"

 

"I don't think so unless Mickey's managed to knock Lake up and hasn't told us." Casey snorted.

 

he reddened"i havent!"he cried

"Yeah,cos he wouldnt know how too..."

"ofcourse he would...he-oh my god! you've never done it!"Ronan said"you always said you had! lier!"

his face went crimson

 

Lake's eyes widened in embarrassment as she turned the brightest shade of crimson she had ever done in her entire life.

"Well, that certainly came up with some interesting reactions I wasn't expecting." Casey snorted.

 

Ronan was almost in tears from laughing"you little lier!"

"you can shut up now..."he said through gritted teeth"its not that funny.."

"I agree...i dont want to hear about his sex life!"

"what Sex life?"cory laughed

 

Lake whimpered faintly in her embarrassment and slipped off towards the stairs.

 

Mickey kicked Ronan and elbowed cory in the gut at the same time"Look what you did!"he hissed

"im murdering you if i bruise..."Cory muttered

"you didnt have to kick so hard! OW!"

"I swear to god this family is full of idiots..."he muttered as he followed after Lake

 

"Full of academically challenged people if you don't mind!" Casey called after him, fighting back a snicker himself.

Lake had disappeared off into the room herself and Mickey were sharing and was hiding on the side of the bed that was blocked from view when you came in through the door. Her face still a violent shade of crimson.

 

Cory snickered


"Lake?"he said sticking his head round the door

 

"Yeah...?" Lake replied quietly as she peered over the top of the made bed.

 

"he made his way over to her"Ignor them...i do...most of the time..."he said"they're idiots...dont get upset by it..."
