"You think you're cold? I'm wearing slightly more clothing then Tarzan's Jane." She giggled slightly, trying to pull her hand through her tousled and knotted curls.

 

he grinned

"well? what was that all about?"Lyra asked as soon as they were through the door

"Nothing.it doesnt matter.i sorted it."

 

"Yeah." Lake nodded.

 

"are you sure?"she asked

"Mum..come on...would i lie to you?"

ooc-im just gonna skip to Lyra telling Maddie that her grandparents are coming...might even make harry and ginny come too ^^ lol

Maddie came down from her and Antony's room,most of her family was still asleep,since it was only about six in the mornning,Vampire's never slept,not during the night and not during the day,though maddie still wore Pajama's around,she wore short-shorts and a strapy t-shirt,made of silk,maddie had never liked silk before she'd changed into a immortal,it seemed to be a vampire thing. she was going to get dressed and go hunting,while everyone was asleep,her black eyes swept across the room,just making sure everyone was alright,she noticed someone wasnt asleep "mum? what're you doing up so early?"she knew why,Lyra was worrying about something...she always did get up early when she worried.

"Maddie...your grandparents...they're coming over today..."she whispered

she froze,they couldnt! they didnt know what her family was,what she was.

ooc- i had this idea for maddie's powers while watching a trailer for a movie, she can do things with her mind, like blow up things, protect people from mind attacks, create force feilds, and move objects,might like get mickey or someone to wind her up enough for her to do it ^^ lol

 

"Least it's just one set of them." Casey muttered.

 

they cant come here."Maddie said panicking now" they dont know about any of this"she gestured around the house "they dont know what they are...what I am!"she said

"Dont worry Maddz...they'll be fine with all of this..."Lyra said

"its not that...its me!"she said"do you know how hard it is to ignore your scents right now? how hard im trying not to kill you all...i dont know if i can handle much more..."

"Oh Maddie...."

 

"It'll only be two more, that can't make that much of a difference. Can it?"

 

"I dont know....it might not.....it'll probably help that im going hunting right now...so...just let them come...even if i do lose it...nobodys gonna let me get very far...."she said

 

"If you're sure honey." Casey nodded.

 

she nodded

"Maddie? ready to go?"Antony asked

"yep."she said turning to him

"your going....out with your pj's on Maddie? arent you going to get cold or hurt or something?"Lyra said eyeing her mini shorts and strapy top with distaste

"Mum i've told you before A) Im A vampire now...i dont get hurt,cold or anything, B) It saves chaning now and C) im only gonna get it all ripped anyway...so whats the point?"she said smiling slightly,it was true, everytime she came back from a hunt, her cloths hung in rags around her, saying her food put up a good fight, like it always did.

she sighed,shaking her head

 

"Least there'd be more of the clothing left afterwards if there was more to start with." Casey said with a touch of disaprovement in his tone. There were some things father's just didn't like to think of their daughters going out it, short-shorts and strappy tops where one of those things.

 

she smiled "see you when we get back 'Kay?"she said turning to go with her husband

 

"See you." Casey nodded.

 

as they left lyra could hear her saying"so...whats on the menu today?" she sighed and looked at Casey"do you think...its time to tell everyone whats going on?"

 

"Yeah... Prob'ley wouldn't do to keep everyone in the dark any longer..."

 

she nodded"just hope it all goes ok..."

 

"It'll be fine Ly." Casey smiled encouragingly.

 

"yeah,your right.."she half smiled

Lyra eye'd Maddie's now changed cloths with alittle less distaste than this mornning,they'd come back from hunting over a hour ago,they're black eyes now golden butterscoth.

Maddie seemed to be in a better mood now she'd fed,she was wearing a long sleeved purple top and jeans,the neck of the top hung low,but it didnt bother her,she made sure Esmya,was all clean for Lily and Lewis coming,who ofcourse,knew nothing of their great-grand daughter
