"S-Sorry..." She said quietly, hiccuping gently on her tears.

 

"im the one who's sorry."he said

 

Lake simply carried on clinging to him, still not fully believing that he'd returned.

 

he burried his face in her hair"promise....i wont leave you again..."he mumbled

Maddie sniffed the air,her mouth dropped open even so slightly
"Maddie? whats wrong?"

 

Lake hid her face in his shoulder and mumbled quietly "Thank you..."

"You okay?"

 

"i wouldnt hurt you like that again..."

Maddie shook her head"i dont know..."she got up and went to the window,her eyes widened"oh my god...." he came back....

 

"I don't care... Just so long as you come back..."

"What is it Maddz?"

 

"i wont need to,because im not going again."

"he came back...."she muttered"He came back."

 

"Good..." She wimpered, her voice cracking slightly.

"What?"

 

"he's back."
"mickey..."

he smiled

 

"Seriously?" Casey asked in disbelief.

Lake stifled a sob as she hugged him tighter.

 

she nodded"come see...."

he hugged her back

 

Casey hauled himself out of his seat and wandered over towards them.

Lake chocked slightly on her tears.

 

he patted her back,rather akwardly,in a comforting way

"see?"she said pointing

 

"Y-You should prob'ley get inside..." Lake said quietly. "You don't look so good..."

"Oh my god... you're right..."

 

"im fine."he lied,infact every part of him was in pain,his cloths hid most of the cuts and scars he'd gotten from his fights,though it didnt hid the particuarly nasty one sticking out from under the neck of the shirt

"he's back...thank god."

 

"No you're not... I can smell the blood and stuff..." She replied.

"Thank god he's alive..."

 

"yeah..."

he shrugged"its only dry blood.none of its too recent..."

 

"But there's a lot... You've got to be in pain..."

 

he shrugged"you learn to ignor it...and if i go in there....i'll be in worse pain...no doubt someone will try to rip my face off or something."
