Hogwarts:Breaking Dawn

"Where's Lake?" Casey said after a moment of silence.

 

"i think....she's still upstairs..."cory said,looking slightly shocked at his brother's departure

"I'll go see..."Maddie muttered turning and going up the stairs,at human speed

 

"I hope she's okay... He didn't really seem to even think about her reaction to all of this just then..." Casey sighed, sliding down in his seat. "I mean we're used to his storm offs... But none of them were this big... And he never seemed so serious before either... If this is how's it effected us god knows what it's done to her. Not to mention the fact she didn't go with him... That's kind of a clue something's happened..."

Lake was still curled up on the bed, her face buried in the covers and surrounded by her arms. Both of which were now damp with her tears.

 

if he comes back, can i kill him?Cory asked,sitting on the floor

"Lake?"Maddie said poking her head around the door"Lake...."she said going to her

 

"You can kick him around a bit." Casey smirked.

Lake looked up briefly to see who it was, quickly looking back down again with a stifled wail.

 

"more than a bit?"he asked a grin appereing

Maddie sat down next to her,gently pulling her into a hug,though trying to hold herself away from her,as she knew she was too strong,too hard and too cold,even for a werewolf

 

"I'll give you a minute for everyday he's gone."

Lake collasped onto her, still crying and sobbing. The pain of him leaving eating away at her inside, all she wanted to do was scream but she didn't have the strength left in her to manage it. Even if she felt it was a good idea. And how the b*stard had told her he loved her before running off, leaving her, made it sting all that much more.

 

"I know...this might sound weird,considering my taste in men,but....i know he's my brother...but you deserve better than him..."


"deal."he grinned

 

"I don't want better then him..." She mumbled weakly through the hiccuping, shuddering sobs. "I want him..."

"You're on." Casey smirked.

 

she sighed,thats what she'd said when antony left last april....when Cory had said she could do better....she'd said she hadnt wanted better...that she wanted him....Antony came back.....and Mickey and Antony werent so different if you looked at it that way...they'd both do everything to save the ones they loved....so maybe he would come back

he grinned

 

Lake just continued to sob, tears cascading down her face, soaking herself and now Maddie too. She tried to apologise for making such a scene and such a mess but she found she couldn't bring herself to even speak any more without crying even more.

 

"hey....its ok....dont worry about it...."maddie said"and dont worry...Mickey's a idiot....but he's smart enough to relise what he's got and then he'll come back...promise..."

 

Lake looked up at Maddie with her shining, tear filled green eyes. What's left of her make up running down her face in long black lines from where the tears had streamed down. The look through the pain and the sadness that shone so vividly in her eyes said very clearly: I hope you're right... god I hope you're right...

 

"if he doesnt....i'll drag his sorry a** back here,deal?"she half smiled

 

Lake forced a weak smile before choking on her tears slightly for a moment.

 

"you can have my old room if you want....if sleeping in here's too....you know..."maddie offered

ooc-im gonna go,i swear im like dying or something...i feel that bad...see ya

 

Lake shook her head. "I-I'd r-r-rather st-st-stay in h-h-here... T-T-Thank y-y-you..." She managed to get out febley. At least staying in his room, even for a little while, made it all that little more bearable. Maybe if she closed her eyes for long enough she'd convince herself he was still there, even for a moment...

ooc-thats what my mum says, i had to stay home from school today...my face and eyes were all swollen and i was told to take a shower,cos apperently that makes you feel better or something....but i still feel the same, worse even

 

OOC- Sounds rather like what my Dad had last week actually which was flu-y. Hope you feel better soon ._.
