Antony,who had been putting his daughter down again suddenly stiffend"oh no..."
Maddie's head snapped up towards the trees,she suddenly darted back to her family,as did the rest of the vampire's"its them isnt it?"

mickey went on his elbows,he never seen vampire's look so terrified before

 

Lake sniffed the air slightly and looked around. She could sense something was up, but she couldn't tell exactly what.

Casey jumped down from the tree just as Immy ran over to him.

 

"Yeah..."
maddie stood in front of Esmya,it almost looked protective

"Maddie...whats-"
"sh! dont make a sound..."
"they know we're here...we cant run with them...its too late..."

mickey sniffed"oh my god...."

 

"Oh god..." Lake muttered as she scrambled onto her feet.

"W-What's going on...?" Immy asked, looking absolutely terrified. Tears glistening in her watery eyes.

 

he jumped up after her,his teeth almost bared

four large werewolves sprinted into the clearing,maddie took a step back,pushing Esmya towards her mother
lyra quickly picked her up,hugging her close

 

"Holy crap... They're huge..." Lake muttered.

 

"so am i..."he almost snarled,he was there one mintue,human,the next he was pacing up and down in front of his-in-laws as a wolf
"Mickey..."Lyra whispered,she was up now

Maddie looked around the rest of the clearing
"ah! here they are!"
"oh no...not felix..."

 

Lake snarled as she turned around to see who it was that was coming. She'd decided a long time ago that she'd only ever turn into a wolf as a last resort if she had the choice seeing as it was a sure fire way to end up in the middle of a forest some-where naked.

 

"i thought you cullen's were Vegiterians"said a black haired,red eye'd vampire"obviously not."

"Nah,they are....i knew they drank animal blood...but werewolf...?"said another
"atleast theres enough human blood to go around..." said a thrid

maddie snarled,as mickey snapped his teeth

 

Immy whimpered as she hid behind her Dad.

Lake released a low guttural growl that you wouldn't of thought a girl as delicate and fair as she was could create as she glared at the new, stinking vampires.

 

"well well well....we are a tempermental lot arent we?"
"what do you want felix?"
we got a report of a immortal child running around with your lot...came to see if its true..."
"what?"
"you see irma,for the coven in scotland,was hunting up here a few days back,she saw a little girl,who looked like a vampire....now you know the rules..."

 

Lake continued to glare darkly at the vampires.

 

maddie's 'breathing' picked up
"what immortal child? there isnt one here."
"Oh no? why can i smell a vampire child?"

he was right,mickey could smell Esmya too,her scent was a little sweeter than the vampire adults,he growled,his lips pulled back over his teeth

 

Lake snarled quietly under her breath.

 

Antony seemed to pale,if that was possible
as did maddie,she glanced back at her parents,her eyes wide
"Oh so thats her there is it?"he took a step forward

mickey snarled warningly

"come on step closer,and i'll take your head off"Maddie warned

 

Lake moved from her position a good few meters away from the family in between them and the vampire coven in a matter of seconds, sensing it was only going to get worse from here on in.

 

he started laughing"oh Antony! you sure know how to pick 'em!"
Maddie growled,her eyes going black
"she's isnt kidding..."
"Listen kid,move out the way or i'll make you..."
"then if she doesnt take your head off i,will."antony said

 

Lake growled darkly once again, secretly looking from one vampire to the other, calculating how long it'd take each one to get close enough to hurt any of them.

 

"we just want to get rid of the kid,we dont normaly let the creator's go....but since Aro if a fan of carlisle....we will...now give me the girl."
Maddie growled"No,your not getting her."
