Mickey was in the shade of the trees,today was too hot,it was probaly the hottest day of the summer,Ronan was on his stomach beside him,mickey was laying back arms behind his head
lyra sat with her back against a tree,watching the game,apparently vampire's seemed to glitter and sparkle in the sunlight,and the normaly only played this game when a storm was coming,so's not to scare humans with the noise,but they were far away from any humans.
Esmya was playing a little way off with Teddy,even she glittered in the light,though she was only a half-breed,she was wearing a little purple top with denim dungaress (i think thats what they're called lol) her bronze hair half way down her small back
Maddie was in a team with Emmett and Carlisle,they were batting first,she'd never played before but it looked fun,a slight breeze lifted her hair around her,her blue top fluttering slightly,her eyes had gone from blood red,to a organy-red, to amber and finaly to the golden colour all the Cullen's had,this pleased her.

Lake was lying beside Mickey, her head leaning gently on his shoulder watching the game with a strange fascination. It wasn't something she'd seen ever before and it was rather interesting to watch.

Immy was sat a little way away from the rest of her family, sitting with her legs crossed in a patch of daisies. Threading them together in a long daisy chain.

Casey, having grown bored of sitting around on his backside acting like how grown-up were 'meant to', had started to climb the tree the rest of his family was sitting below. He was now rather high up in the branches, and was starting to get a little concerned with how the hell he was going to get down.

 

he looked upwards and grinned"having fun up there dad?"
Esme was the only vampire,not playing,she had said she just normaly watched since they cheat alot.
maddie took the bat,swinging it in a circle slightly as she took her place

"Look uncle cory! look!"
"what is it Mya?"cory asked looking down at his niece"Oh....its a...worm...here....let me take that...."he said taking it off her before she could put it in her mouth or something....maddie deffinatly wouldnt be happy about that."ew..."He said throwing it away,as Esmya giggled

"aww thats cute! weird how fast she grows though innit?"Sophie said

 

"Hellz yeah!" Casey called back down from his seat between the trunk of the tree and one of the branches. However inside he was thinking over and over: I'm gonna die... I'm gonna die...

"Worms aren't that gross you know, and you don't need to throw it..." Immy said quietly, she was the type of sensitive child that loved all animals no matter how gross they seemed to everyone else. Apart from spiders, spiders could go burn in hell as far as she was concerned. Evil leggy things.

 

he grinned

"they are so gross.."

there was a loud sound of thunder as maddie hit the ball Rosalie pitched to her,she flung the bat and ran around the square at top vampire speed

"Now i see why they need a storm..."

 

"You're telling me..." Lake muttered as she covered her ears, the sound extra loud to her with her werewolf ears.

"No they're not you sissy. They're just a little slimey."

 

"they.are.gross!"

"ow....Maddie could you hit that a little louder? the werewolf down the river didnt hear you right!"

 

"They're adorable!"

"And the ones over here may not ever be able to hear again... Owie..."

 

"urgh! no they're not!"
"cory stop it"

mickey rubbed his ear,there was faint pop inside"thats better."

"I wanna turn! i wanna turn!"
"No,sweetie...your too little to play..."

 

"Yeah Cory." Immy said tauntingly as she stuck her tongue out at him.

Lake shook her head to clear it of the after shock of the noise. "And I bet you it'll only get louder too..."

 

"Please?"

"pretty please?"

he stuck his tounge back out at her

"Ah, owned Cory. Owned." She grinned.

Lake fidgeted slightly to get herself more comfortable. She was wearing very short shorts due to the heat and the grass felt rather prickly on her bare legs.

he pulled the grass at the top of his head

"You okay down there?" Lake asked with a cheeky grin as she lent over Mickey, putting on of her arms on the other side of him to the rest of her.

"It's genetic I swear." Casey called down from his seat up in the tree.

 

"Im good."he grinned

her lower lip stuck out and trembled,the bright blue eyes filled with water
