Lake giggled softly as she placed her hand upon the one on the arm he'd used to wrap around her.

"No need for you to apologise Maddz, it just came as a bit of a shock... I'm just worried about you you know, nothing else."

 

he grinned

"I know..."she said

 

Lake looked up at him just in time for the sunlight to catch her emerald eyes once again, making the shades within them spangle and sparkle.

"And no matter what happens, I'll be here to help you in anyway I can. I promise."

 

she smiled"thanks dad..."

"i love it when your eyes do that..."he said twiling a bit of her hair around his finger

 

"No worries." Casey smiled patting her head gently.

Lake blushed a pale shade of frosted pink and smiled cutely. "Th-Thank you..."

 

she smiled

"your welcome,its just the way the light hits it....really pretty,"

ooc-i had this idea that maddie does 'die' but they get the vampire venom into her but everyone thinks its too late,then about a hour or so later mickey hears her heart beat,cos of his super hearing and they find out shes turning into a vampire,what do you think?

 

Casey smiled again and sat down next to his wife.

Lake looked away slightly as the blush deepened. Once again she thanked him, however this time she couldn't make a sound so just mouthed the words.

she lay back down again

he laughed

 

"So... Apart from this how's everything going?"

Lake blushed an shade of red that was deeper still and giggled slightly.

 

"fine,what'd we miss here? we were gone what two and a half weeks?"she asked antony

"yeah."

"you could fry a egg on your face..."

 

"Not that much if you already know about Mickey and Lake really, that's about the only major change."

"I got a new rabbit if that counts." Immy added quietly.

"Oh shush." Lake giggled embarrassedly.

 

he laughed

"I knew he was gonna go out with her anyway,how could he not....did you see the way he acted around her?"she rolled her eyes smiling"aww cute,what'd you call it Immz?"

 

"It was fairly obvious, they were dancing around each other since they met on the train. Just waiting for the time both of them realised." Nate nodded in agreement.

"He's called Aki." Immy replied.

Lake continued to giggle quietly.

 

so obvious..."she agreed"aww thats cute,is it a baby rabbit?"

 

"Amazed it took them this long in all honesty." Nate smirked.

Immy nodded. "He's really small."

Lake smiled at him again before hiding her face in his shoulder.

 

"Not as long as mum and dad..."she muttered"aww i gotta see him when i can..."

"it didnt takes us that long!"lyra said

"Oh yeah? when did dad start liking you mum? fourth year was it?"cory said

"yeah,when did they get together?"

"three years later,couple months after i came on the scene."cory grinned"oh no,thats not taking long at all...."he joked

he smiled

 

"I just avoiding getting my arse kicked by someone else who was on the scene first, besides that was back when everyone was convinced I was gayer then springtime."

Lake giggled softly and wrapped her arms around him, hugging him tightly.

 

cory laughed "gayer than springtime huh? why'd they think that?"

he hugged her back

 

"My dearest darling sister over there thought it'd be just hilarious to tell everyone I was gay after I decided to have a random moment singing 'I feel pretty' in an attempt to cheer your mother up."

Lake smiled up at him.

 

he laughed"did it work?"
"yeah."she said"it was more your dad's singing than the song though..."she grinned

he sat on the front of the car,still hugging her in a way,now he was lower than her
