"And the fact they've not known each other for their entire lives and know just about everything about each other. Or the fact her child is actually killing her..." Casey sighed. "I don't blame him for it any more, if anything I'm surprised he didn't deck me more then once."

 

"thats maddie for you....always happy in weird ways..."

"they'll get to know each other more....they knew each other enough to marry didnt they? and as for the killing her part,she's not worried,she knows she'll be fine,trust her...and why would he deck you?"she said trying to hide a smile

 

"So shouldn't you be happy that she's happy?"

"I hope you're right Ly...." Casey sighed. "And because I dated you without him knowing until you were actually pregnant, and let's face it the timing of me telling you how I felt did make it look like I was taking advantage of the situation..."

 

"Yeah."he said"but im not."

"Im always right."she said"i didnt think you were taking advantage...if you hadnt said anything...i might have only ever had cory....not another three kids thanks to you..."she grinned

 

"I know it's got to be tricky that the person you care about the most is having a child that's one of the creatures you hate the most... But it's not changing, you'll have to accept it. You'll learn to love it, I mean it if your niece or nephew there."

"You are not." Casey chuckled. "Oh wow, I provided you with all that extra pain of childbirth."

 

"will i though if she doesnt make it?"

"you get used to it by the time the second twin's out."she grinned"and i am always right."

 

"It's a part of her, and it'd be the only part of her left if it all goes wrong. So hating the child would be hating her..."

"Good to know." He chuckled. "You aren't."

 

he sighed

"you know im always right..."she joked"why dont you go talk to her? just let her know your not angry....just worried....not that she doesnt know...but she needs to hear it from you."

 

"I realise this has to be difficult for you... But you've said so yourself you love her more then anyone else, and this seems to be making her happy and it's ultimately her choice... You just need to come to terms with it. It'll all be alright in the end. Have a little faith." Lake said putting her hand encouragingly on his upper arm.

"I know... I'll go in and talk to her in a moment..."

 

"Guess your right..."He sighed,a smile twitching at the corners of his mouth

she smiled

 

"You know I am." She smiled, nudging him playfully at the sight of the smile.

Casey returned the smile and gently kissed her cheek.

 

he grinned"Im still not going back in yet....the smell is starting to burn my eyes..."

"i'll see you inside."she said kissing his neck before leaving to go inside

 

"I know what you mean, I'm suprised my make up hasn't run from the sting of the smell..."

"See ya." Casey replied with a nod.

 

"think my eyes are gonna burn outta their sockets..."He joked

 

"Eww, messy." Lake giggled.

 

he laughed"your telling me..."

lyra went back inside and sat on one of the chairs

 

"It might be a good idea for us to stay out here for a while then. Don't want you going blinder then a bat." She giggled.

Casey sighed slightly as he took one last look at the blue sky and wandered back into the house.
