"Yeah..." Lake said at a loss for anything else to say.

he sat on the wall

 

"I dunno. She just seemed like that to me."

Lake looked down at the floor.

 

"hmmm..."she said biting her lip again

he picked at a thread on his sleeve"what now?"

 

"Can I go back to where I was now? I don't like standing on the top of the stairs."

Lake shrugged.

 

yeah....yeah."Lyra said she turned to sit across from casey

he sighed

 

"Thank-you." Jamei said carefully turning and wandering back to the room.

Lake carefully sat down on the wall beside him.

 

ooc-sorry my sister wanted on the laptop ^^;

lyra sighed


"hate holidays...theres always nothing to do..."He muttered

ooc-i might just make it a few days after maddie comes back that they go see her,nothing else to do really...lol put lyra out of her misery...lol ^^

Okies, it okay if Lake stays with them for a bit then?

"Yeah... I was wondering if something had happened to you... I haven't heard from you since the wedding a couple of weeks ago..."

"Nah,bordem kept me inside....plus me and maddie always do stuff over the holidays...she's the one with the ideas....i just go along..."he grinned,he'd missed his twin,even though she'd only been away for a few weeks

it was early in mornning and lyra was up making breakfast,she sighed,maddie hadnt called since she spoke to jamei,lyra pulled out the plates,then the phone went"hello?"
"Mum?"
"maddie?"she said"maddie! oh sweetie, you dont know how much we've been missing you!"
"heh,missed you too,but im back now..."her voice sounded hoarse,as if she'd recently been sick,violently sick.
"are you ok?"
"sort of,can you come up to the Cullen's house today? i cant really explain whats wrong untill i show you...."
"Ok honey..."
"see you then mum."the conversation ended

"Oh... Okay..." Lake nodded.

"I'm assuming that was Maddie." Casey said as he wandered down the stairs, still in his pyjamas and his green dressing gown.

Immy was already up, sitting on the sofa watching TV with her rabbit.
"Don't let it crap on the sofa Imz." Casey said as he stuck his head around the door.
"I know Daddy..."

Lake was sat on the floor in Mickey's room, leaning against one of the walls.

 

"yeah,it was."lyra said"she's back,she wants us to go up to the cullen's,says she needs to shows us to help explain....explain what i dont know...she sounds ill though..."she added

mickey sat up in bed,his blonde hair everywhere,he seemed to have super-sonic hearing when maddie was mentioned"Maddie's back?"he said

 

"Maybe she got food poisoning from too much black-pudding or something." Casey said jokingly as he sat down next to Immy and her rabbit. Stroking the rabbit gently as he did so.

"The connection between you and your sister scares me..." Lake replied with a rather confused expression. "I think she's asked for you lot to go see her today or something."

 

"hopefully its just that..."she muttered,she couldnt shake the feeling it was something more,but then as cory had said the night before,she was just being paraniod."boys!,lake carrie,breakfast.!"she called

"Twins remeber?"he grinned,jumping out his bed,pulling lake up to her feet and running down stairs,he was in better mood,though he was still grounded"maddie's back?"

lyra nodded

"finaly!"

 

Lake yelped slightly as she was pulled down the stairs, nearly tumbling down a couple of steps once or twice.

 

he grinned and jumped over the back of the couch,sitting to watch the t.v

"she wants us to go to the cullens by the way and i-"

"why there? the place reeks"mickey said his grin fading

"Because she's not a malfoy anymore....thats her home because she's a cullen"mickey flinched at this

 

"There isn't too much choice Mickey. You either go and put up with the smell or just don't go. Heya Lake."

"Hey Mr Malfoy."

 

"I'll go..."he muttered

cory came down,putting teddy in his little play corner,carrie came down behind him

mickey sighed,and slide down in the couch

"here."maddie said putting the plate infront of him,the others floating behind her

"Thanks."He muttered

 

"Cheer up emo kid." Casey sighed. "I know they don't smell like a bed of roses, even I can smell it a little. But it's just something you'll have to learn to live with for your sister. Besides, I doubt that he thinks this place smells too nice either."

 

"guess so..."He said"when we going?"

after breakfast....that shouldnt be a problem....i hear vampires dont sleep..."
