"they bet me that i could last through the wedding,i said i couldnt,right nate?"he said through his teeth,giving him his'play along if you want to keep your face' look

 

"Yes, that's exactly it." Nate said, choosing to play along just in case.

"You sure?"

 

"Yeah."he turned to grin at her"turns out i lost,no big deal."he shrugged

"mum,dad,we have to go now ok?"Maddie said getting up
"oh right ofcourse sweetie,you have fun now ok? and call me when you get there."lyra said hugging her daughter


ooc-i figured i'd move on since i've got like 16 mins left on this lol

 

"Okay then." Lake nodded.

"To be honest I think either way he won in a way anyway..." Nate muttered as he wandered back off to his mother, who'd been shouting at him to come back over.

"Bye dad."she said hugging him"ill call you,bye immy,mickey."she said somehow getting both in the one hug,she relized this probaly was the last time she was going to see them as a human girl,she waved at the rest of her family,she looked a little worried

"See you princess." Casey said gently patting her head as she left.
"Bye Maddie." Immy said quietly.

ooc-do you mind if i skip to maddie calling and telling immy and jamei shes pregnant,maddie and antony are to do things that young minds shouldnt know about lol

"oh my god..."she whispered,she couldnt be"antony?"she looked at the frozen vampire on the floor,she'd just told him she though she was pregnant,how could she not be? she was five days late for her cycle,wich was very unusal for her,she'd been having mood swings,sleeping alot,eating more...the proof with in her hands,her un-used tampons,"antony,im-im gonna go call my family ok?" she rushed out the room,thats when she saw the bump,it hadnt been there yesterday,but it was there now"Mum? umm hi...no,no im fine...ummm can i talk to immy and jamei?please? thanks."

"Immy! Jamei! its maddie she wants to talk to you!"lyra called"she sounds upset,"she added to casey

 

"If that undead sh*t has done anything I'll decapitate him..." Casey muttered.

"Hello?" Jamei said as she picked up the phone.

 

"Jamei...oh thank god....look dont tell anyone,especaily my dad or my brothers....jamei,i think....im pregnant..."

"What? Honest blog?" She asked in amazement, dropping down onto her bed.

"Yes,"she said moving out onto the platfourm"you know i told you that antony promised me we'd...you know after the wedding? well we did...and new there's this bump between my hips,and it wasntthere yesterday,now tell me thats not normal.wait ill send you a picture to show how pregnant i look."she said,then she took the picture and sent it,"see?"

 

"First of all you don't get a bump that quick Maddz." Jamei giggled. "It could just be extra stuff because your period is late, I say give it a couple more weeks or get a test to make sure before jumping to conclusions."

Lake was sitting on the fence of a nearby field gazing out to horizon yet again, the gentle breeze fluttering her curly hair in the bright sunlight. She loved the late summer to mid-autumn days, they made her feel so peaceful...

 

"Yeah,i'll take a test....but....i could be,i think i am..."she said her voice suddenly sounded chocked as if she were about to try"i keep having weird dreams about babies,i sleep more than i should....im eating alot more....and not my normal food,like food i never liked before now..."she said "umm...antony's calling carlisle,he'll know...if i am....because he's a healer and a vampire....that might be,if infact that i am pregnant,why im showing so soon,because its...too...a...vampire..."she said as if she relized something,inside she could hear antony saying"what should i do? bring her home? ok." jamei....what do i do if i am pregnant?"

 

"Well dreaming of babies isn't just linked to pregnancy it could also symbolize vulnerability, or your need for love or it could represent some new development in your life." Jamei explained. "And the other things could just simply be because you're in a different environment." She continued before dropping to a more serious and some how comforting tone: "And if you are pregnant you have a choice to make as a couple: Keep it or lose it. Personally I'd choose keep it, but seeing as I was almost an abortion child I would say that. It's up to you and Anthony. I doubt very much Auntie Lyra and Uncle Casey will be angry about it if that's what's worrying you."

As she gazed out over the yellowing fields Lake started to voice the song that had been stuck in her head for quite some time, and as she was alone and there was no one around to hear her she slowly started to sing. Her voice was a pretty and rather high one, almost angelic at moments. Her voice was the one thing she'd kept secret all these years, she knew she was a decent singer but singing meant being in front of a large number of people and she'd always been shunned and abused by humankind so she tried her best to avoid it.
"Fly on the wings of love. Fly baby fly. Reaching the stars above, touching the sky..."

 

she bit her lip.."yeah,oh here comes antony...."she said "what? what do you mean we're leaving?,carlisle wants to check me? cant we just go to a human doctor? oh.right...umm jamei...antony says carlisle thinks i am pregnant....we're coming home....can you tell my parents that im coming back....see you in sixteen hours or so..."she said

mickey was sitting in the kitchen with cory,aruging because cory said he 'couldnt' get him tickets for a over's concert,over's meaning 21 and over,what he really meant was 'he coudnt be bothered'

 

"Okay, will do." Jamei agreed. "Good luck Maddz, whichever way it goes I'm sure you'll be happy."

"In the summer night, when the moon shines bright. Feeling love forever and the heat is on. When the daylight is gone. Still - happy together." Lake continued, her voice slowly becoming louder and stronger. Every note pitch perfect and beautiful.

"Do you guys have to keep arguing?!" Casey snapped at the two, finally fed up from the background of yelling and name-calling. "Mickey; you shouldn't of even asked him to anyway, so it's your own damn fault! Cory; You shouldn't of agreed to it in the first place! And I swear to god if you two don't shut the f*ck up I'll curse the two of you into oblivion! Got it?!"

 

"yeah...thanks."she hung up

"whats up with you?!"mickey snapped back
"i never agreed,i cant even get them!"cory said

lyra sighed,what a happy bunch of people...

"oh."
"what? whats wrong?"
"Nothing...it...he kicked..."she said
antony bit his lip"dont worry,when we get back,carlisle will take care of it."
"eh?"
"we'll get that thing out before it can hurt you..."he said "be right back."
that thing? had he just called our baby that thing?! he isnt worried about the baby....hes worried about me....i wont let them....i wont....

ooc-im going by the book,half-vampire half human babies grow more quickly than normal ones,so shes gonna be pregnant for about a month,then the baby will grow even more quickly
