"yeah,you'd like that."he said grinning,going on one leg

cory took his chance then,he slid down in his seat and pulled the chair from his brother

"ow!"mickey said from his place on the floor

"cory jordan alexander casey malfoy! why did you do that? what are you? ten or twenty?!"lyra said as mickey got up

"you ok mike?"maddie asked

"ah...yeah..."He said rubbing his head"where's lake?"

"Out side....i think"ronan said

 

"Nah nah nah nah nah, Cory's in trouble, Cory's in trouble!" Casey said in a taunting tone. He'd been sneaking all the sugary things from the buffet table for quite sometime and his hyper-activity levels had reached critical.

"Yeah, she's outside." Jamei nodded.

 

"nah nah nah nah"lyra said a grin on her face"so are you."she said becoming serious"i know you've snuck sugar casey....you know what it does to you..."she rolled her eyes,but smiled

he left the table,his now un-tied tie swing around his neck,he looked back,probaly nobody'd notice he'd gone."Hey lake."he said

"Ha ha!"cory said"Ow!" he added as carried elbowed him the the ribs

maddie grinned

 

"Would you rather I was hyper and loud or drunk and handsy?" Casey said sticking his tounge out at her before running off to hide behind a curtain.

"Daddy's hyper again Maddie, just to warn you..."

"Oh... Hey..." Lake said, quickly wiping her face free from the tears that had been falling down her face for the last couple of minutes.

 

"i dunno which ones worse."lyra muttered"Casey come back,i promise i wont ground you."she joked

"wait....a hyper dad...is a embarrasing dad...a very embarrasing....dad....oh no dad come back! your gonna be sucicdal again!"

"you ok?"he asked moving to stand in front of her,the wind lifting his blonde hair,his blue eyes full of concern and worry"you didnt say much after the wedding."

 

"Nuuuu!" Casey whined from his hiding place behind one of the curtains

"Just hope he doesn't find the rest of the cake. It'd be gone in seconds." Elle said as she scanned the room for her brother.

"Yeah... I'm fine... It's just..." Lake said, unsure of how to phrase it. "It doesn't matter..." She sighed hanging her head and looking out towards the horizon again, the faint orange glow of the setting sun catching in her perfectly curled golden blonde hair, making it seem as though she had a angelic halo.

 

"what?"

"Casey Malfoy,dont make me get up"lyra threatend

cory grinned

 

Ada looked over at Alexis..."Soo...""I'm getting very bored.."

 

"Just... Being around all these people... Just makes me think about just how alone I am compared to everyone else..." She sighed, looking up towards the descending star-littered night-sky to stop her tears cascading down her face again.

"Nevar!" Casey called again diving out from behind the curtain and tripping straight over the rug in the centre of the room, causing a small number of people to fall over into one giant pile in the middle of the floor.

cory burst out laughing along with a few others


"your not the only one whos alone...."he said"your not really alone,im always with ya."he joked

 

Alexis snickered at Casey, Whilst Ada almost fell over from laughter...

 

Casey pushed himself up from the mess of people who'd fallen to the floor. "I didn't do it!"

"Yeah..." Lake smiled faintly. "You were the first person who was ever nice to me without having an alterer motive..."

 

"sit down or we're going home"lyra said trying not laughing,her lips twitched

she sighed

he laughed"well...i didnt really like you sitting out on the floor..." he said looking to the horrizone,and back to her,his mouth dropped open just that tinsy bit whoa,nate was acctualy right for once....she HAS gotten prettier...

 

"I AM sitting down though..." Casey said, his expression looking like one a kicked puppy would give the kicker.

"Still... Thank you..." She said, looking up at him and smiling. The light from the setting sun catching her green eyes, making them sparkle like precious jewels and catching the more vivid greens hidden within her emerald irises.

 

"over here."she said

he stared at her for a moment,then he got just the tiny bit closer"your eyes a really pretty...."he muttered,without relizing it

 

Alexis grinned at Ada..."Do you not find it weird how, everyone in the room is related in some way? Blood line or not?"

 

"Awwww... No fun there."

Lake felt the warmth of yet another blush spread over her face as he gazed at her.

 

"Please?"lyra said putting on her famous puppy dog eyes,pouted lip face,she'd been doing thats since she was two.

he cleared the rest of the space between them in one step,then he bent his head,his face inchs from hers

 

"Fiiiiiiiiine, but only coz I'm nice like that." Casey sighed reluctantly as he hauled himself off the floor.

Lake blushed an even deeper shade of pink, her expression a mix of confusion and a tiny bit of what seemed like joy. Maybe...

 

Ada nodded..."Yeah..."
