Staff is staff. It's only terrible by comparison to others; the website is also huge and almost unmanageable in its current state. But personally, I'd rather it be free and crazy than compartmentalized and imperialistic. We get done what we can. Sadly we don't have the access to do anything really huge, like spdude can do.

I've worked for bigger sites man. They all are more organized and they don't even have admins do most anything. In fact, they are trusting enough to give mods sections, have them reg that section, and take care of it on their own including banning members who cause trouble in it without need to ask mommy and daddy for permission.. Scary huh?
