When I type in an artist it doesn't mean I want to listen to them, it means I want to listen to something SIMILAR to them. It also probably isn't a great sign if I thumbs-down the last five songs you've given me either.
Someone else who hates pandora? ::L: Oh my,I gave up on that thing after the first 20 songs I did thumbs down on.And it also eventually converts to a different style,that I end up hating xDD
It's so frustrating, I mean occasionally it'll give me one or two good things but 90% of the time I either have already heard it, hate it, or get frustrated because it's "limiting the number of songs I can skip."
Urgh. Do you know that thing on iTunes that tells you songs you should try? I hate that thing too. It usually ends up sucking and all it does it annoy me after I buy a song.
I wanted to download that but it turns out my iPod is way too old to support that. I think they're just trying to get me to buy a new one.

It looks like that but add on scratches, dents, and the white thing at the top is popping off. It sounds worse than it is, it still works perfectly aside from the fact that I have to push the white thing down when I want to turn hold on or off. It's 2GB which is horrible but I survive.
I hate Pandora. My dad would listen to it nonstop from 8 in the morning to 7 at night and I used to sleep really late and because my house is a one room apartment and my bed is the couch next to the computer, I would wake up early to that B| ...boy am I glad I live at my mom's house now.
My photography teacher did that, he would ALWAYS make us listen to Coldplay. Once or twice I changed it to Casiotone for the Painfully Alone and some kid was like "yo what is this ****, let's put on some bob marley" I was very disappointed. I have no intentions of buying a new one until the guts are spilling out of this one.
Personally I find that Last.FM does a better job of helping me find new music. It kinda has that whole social-networking-stupidshit going on what with the friends lists and "hey everyone look at what I'm listening to, and look at all these bars and graphs of what I listen to!", but whatever it's helpful.
