I'm petitioning to rename that level The Tower of Use A Lot Of Fucking Arrows And Still Miss That Bastard On The Stairs More So When He's In Direct Range.

Oh yeah. The fact that you become an actual BOSS and kill another player is a super awesome feature.
You can only do it with that Monk Boss though.

Did you finish every world yet? I assume you only have the first world to go.

 

I was thinking something more like The Tower of Why Can't Anything on this Goddamn Level Just Man the Fuck Up and Kill Me Itself Instead of Dropping Me Down Pits Constantly Because of Pisspoor Visibility.

Although I guess that only applies to the first part, because you have to be pretty damn stupid (or trying to get f4t l00tz) to fall in 3-2.

 

To the DS players in here: how's the online community so far? I only played a review copy before it came out so I only had other journalists to play with, but now I want to replay it and my copy shut down saving/online after a month.

 

I believe it's still going strong. Last I heard anyway.
They plan to shut down the online in October. So there's still some time.

 

...Wait, they're actually doing something like that? Companies actually do things like that? Do I live under a fucking rock to have never heard of a company doing something like that, or is this a special occasion?

 

Well they're planning to do it in October because of the two year anniversary, and well Atlus is basically losing money over this.
And yeah, a lot of companies do that.

To those who're curious about my progress. I've finished up through 1-4(but not the Old King), 2-2(Flamelurker was easy), 3-1(Just haven't gotten around to 3-2), 4-3(Storm Ruler is only worth using here), 5-2(got so lost I wanted to kill myself)

 

I'm surprised you found Flamelurker easy.
I'd recommend leaving the Old King for last.

I co-op'd flamelurker and spammed soul ray while my friend ran away and attacked at random intervals. I did eventually get to the Dirty Colossus and kill it, but I never found the shortcut back to the beginning.
