Trust me your not wasting MP if your smart about it. I did a no elixer battle like that. But even if you don't activate it fast enough there is another reason I like it. Sephiroth allways likes to pull cheap shots right after heartless angel/sin harvest, but you're invincable durring that with Strike Raid. Then once he takes a breather (ok so you might be talking half a second) you get time to activate your elixer. The strategy that takes split seccond timing is the elixer through it. I've managed it but that is really hard to get right. It needs to heal you after getting hit, but before taking the chep shot, with a delay on the activation.

 

Hence why I use Superglide... It's SO much simpler lol

Ahh the phantom he rocks, btw when he stands next to a face of the clock getting ready to fire that continus damage thing, fly to the face of the clock left of him and press against the wall, the shot can't go through the clock wall and wont hit you.

 

Yeah, I did that... made him easy... combined with my slightly inflated level lol

Well, I didn't have Aeroga, and wasn't confident I could shake it off using the old methods lol... so I improvised...

 

I actually used the pillars for that part

 

You mean the undercover walkway? That's one of the 'old methods' lol
