There is a good chance that we are going to Gamestop this Friday and I have some birthday money I will be able to use. But I am a majorly indecisive person who will end up standing there, staring at the games until I go crazy and then we'd have to leave.

We have a PS3, but getting it away from my brother is a huge hassle and near impossible. I can try at times, and maybe drug him or something, but it'd be easier to get something for the PS2 or Gamecube, which I always have access too. My sister has a DS and may be getting a PSP and I could always leech off of her till I get my own.

So, things I must have in a game is a good plot and more into RPGs than anything else, though I do play several other types of games. I'm not big on first person shooters though.

The 3rd Birthday seemed like a cool game, but will it be worth it if I had not played the first two games? And I may also want Persona 3, if they have it. If they don't I suppose I could find it somewhere else. But there are other games that interest me as well...

    *bangs head on wall*

    Help? ;~;

Tales of the Abyss? I've heard it's pretty good. Kind of. Well, I think it's pretty good. I mean, it's a Tales game. How bad could it get?

    Kingdom hearts

Or you could save up and use the money on a PSP/DS, or Fable (any of them) are good but they only come on PC and Xbox. I assume you have a computer but whether you want/can play games on it is another issue.

    DS Games~The Professor Layton Series

Those are the best suggestions I can think of at the moment...

She speaks the truth! Since you have a Gamecube, see if you can find Tales of Symphonia as well.

Have thought about getting it since so many people seems to like it. Already played Tales of Symphonia.

I'm not in the market for a new system at the moment...

Sly - Played and own them all. :'D
Super Smash Brothers - Tis a maybe.
The Professor - Friend has it and I now know all about it so is kind of ruined for me. :c

So far nothing I have not made up my mind, but will probably not do so till I actually get there... Depending though. I would love more suggestions either way.

You could always go for a fairly popular DS game Days Re:Coded

    Maybe an Ace Attorney game.

They're all great. I found the original at Gamestop. Bought it for fourteen bucks, finished it within a few days. The Phoenix Wright and Apollo Justice games aren't easy to come by nowadays (or cheap) but the most recent one, Miles Edgeworth, is pretty good.

Any of the Legacy of Kain series.

And if you're into RTS: Dune 2000. (PS1)

If your DS has a GBA slot, definitely pick up and GBA games you want/look interesting. They don't accept trade ins for those anymore so whatever they have, that's it. I'd recommend pretty much any Final Fantasy you can find.

GBA - Final Fantasy VI, Final Fantasy V, Final Fantasy VI, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red Rescue Team, Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventure, Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap

DS - Final Fantasy III, Final Fantasy IV, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team, Okamiden (sequel to Okami), Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective, Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver, Pokemon Black/White, Hotel Dusk: Room 215, Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (sequel to Wind Waker), Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks

PSP - Final Fantasy I, Final Fantasy II, Final Fantasy Tactics (which I personally do not like but many do), Birth by Sleep, Dissidia, Dissidia Duodecim, FFVII: Crisis Core, Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection

GameCube - Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Master Quest (if you can find it), Sonic Adventue 2 Battle, Super Smash Bros. Melee

PS2 - FFVII: Dirge of Cerberus (third person shooter, "sequel" to Advent Children, Vincent-centric), Okami

...That's all I can think of right now, sorry. :c

I've heard of all of these and played most. Have I ever told you that you have an awesome taste in games? XD

Though, not really interested in Pokemon games anymore... Past third gen all of the Pokemon look like "...Wth is this...this thing? ._."

If I see a FF game that I have not played I'll most likely get it.

Zelda... It's been so long since I have played it. I will definitely get one if I see it.

Burrowed Okami before but never got very far before the friend took it back. Very rudely so too... So that is on the list of getting if they have it.

And @Cat: Not interested in Ace Attorney, may get Days since it is the only KH game I have yet to play.

    @Risk: I'll look into those.

From my observations, it would appear the plot of Persona 3 is superior and the characters of Persona 4 are superior.

If only they would put the two together then, eh?

Oh yeah, forgot to reply to gabr. Played some of that before. Watched brother play it more so. Seemed alright but didn't catch my interest 100%. Plus I think I watched him play too much since I know the ending. >.>"

Ahaha awesome, glad I'm not the only person that's played some of these. xD

Yeah, that's how I felt about 4th Gen (which is why I didn't get it), but the 5th really isn't that bad. There's some pretty decent looking ones, and the story's not bad either. Takes some getting used to for older players, but overall I like it so far.

Just don't get XI, that thing is...beyond dead. >>

Usually GameStop has Phantom Hourglass used, but I'd recommend playing Wind Waker first. Spirit Tracks is standalone and I really liked it.

Your best bet for PS2 Okami is Amazon, to be honest. Very rarely do I see the Wii version in stores, and I've not seen the PS2 version in a very long time. Usually goes for about $15 new, which is probably better than what you'd get used in-store.

I'll definitely post more games if they come to mind, lol. Most of what I've got on the PS2 is Star Wars FPS. xD;; Though at least Bounty Hunters is plot-driven.

Oh. Dur. Shadow of the Colossus, PS2; Pokemon Colosseum, GameCube (it's second gen).

Any Jak and Daxter game or Ratchet and Clank. Devil May Cry and Onimusha are good too. All for PS2.
