Yeah, I'd go for a blowout. Not too strong, but enough to make them touch it. About maybe an inch and half. And a tape up, and maybe a fade? It doesn't look half bad, but it needs a lot of gelling. You can then make it look like the Gotti's hairstyle.

 

Oh man, I'm in the same dilemma as you. I really want short hair, but I'm not sure.

As for your's, I think the front would look good like that [except a bit shorter], but not the back so much. It'd look like you're copying your friend.

 

I decided i'm not gonna get my hair short like that in the back, but i don't want any hair touching the back of my neck, i really hate that >.<

Maybe i might get a perm 8D

You could always cut your hair REAAAL short,that's what I did last week,or dye your hair,whatever floats your boat.
